I bought his modernist accent chair for my new downtown LA apartment, and let me tell you, it’s great for the whole "Mad Men" vibe I’m going for. The mid-century style just screams grab a gimlet! The linen fabric is super comfy (I think its real?!), and it even comes with a lumbar pillowy thing —because who doesn’t want to be well-supported while sipping an Old Fashioned and pretending to be a 1960s advertising exec about to make a horrid decision? I can already see myself looking all suuave, even though I’m probably just in sweatpants and a tee shirt hahah. This chair is about 20% smaller than you think it is. It feels like it should be a normal sized chair and it almost looks like it is, but you sit in it and think "hmm this feels a little small". Assembly was easy. The fabric (which is white "linen") makes it look like it's missing a slipcover or something. But, if you want a decent little accent chair or something just to put off to the side in a room, it will do fine.

This is a very good looking an well crafted chair. Everything about my experience with it has been positive. It came well packed and with its parts labeled which made it quite easy to put together. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. I actually had it from boxed to built in less than 30 minutes. The wood is very smooth and well finished and they included wooden dowel plugs which really added to the finished look. The cushions are soft and inviting and the fabric is comfortable. The style of the chair is definitely a mid-century look with a low to the floor design which I like a lot. This looks great in my apartment and it is very comfortable.

I ordered this chair because I wanted to have something I could sit on in my bedroom when I’m getting dressed. The chair is smaller than I expected, but really works perfectly for what I wanted it for. The frame is sturdy and looks nice. The white cushions are only just ok. The bottom seat cushion is quite firm and not the most comfortable thing to sit on for longer than just a few minutes. That works for me, but if you want a nice cushion- this isn’t it. The back cushion is too thin. I might eventually see about just replacing the cushions on this chair to something more comfortable. Overall, this is an ok chair. It works well for what I wanted it for.

The media could not be loaded. This inexpensive chair was reasonably easy to assemble, looks good, and would be nice for teens or a first apartment. The wood frame is sturdy and easily supports 200+ pound adults. The chair arrived with all parts and an Allen wrench for assembly. The screw holes in the frame were not perfectly aligned but we were able to make it work without drilling new holes. The reason I rated this chair 3-stars is that it is extremely uncomfortable IMO. The bottom cushion is very hard, the back cushion is too thin, and the angle of the back is uncomfortable for my 5’7” average female body. The included pillow helps with comfort but I would need to add a blanket or additional cushioning if I were to sit in this very long. It also was frustrating how wrinkled the fabric was on the cushions and pillow; it required a lot of work to irons dn steam it to look good (using the steam setting on my dryer was insufficient). I would not order this chair again for me, but thankfully I ordered it for my 20-something son. It will be fine for our intended purpose as a video game chair in our rec room.
