Seems like a great little heater. However, mine was missing the screws, and had a scratch. No biggie, just wanted to share. It’s very quiet, easy to use, has several settings and functions great. I bought this 26" fireplace but did not expect it put out much heat - I bought it because just looking at the flames is relaxing. So I was surprised that it actually does put out heat. I really like everything about it, LOVE the remote, it's quiet, and it looks good. It was very well packaged. The legs were a little tricky to put on because of the very small screws but it didn't take long with the use of a flashlight to make sure the holes lined up. This morning my living room was at 57 and after one hr. it is now 62. Bare in mind that my living room is open to the den and the kitchen with no doors so it's a big space.     • Nice heater, one flaw
I like this heater and it works for me because I have it in a very large space where it can't get too hot. However, it has one somewhat major flaw that I didn't notice until I bought a second one for my mom and it was placed in a much smaller room. The thermostat control doesn't work. If u turn it on and set the control just past where it comes on, it will never shut off. If u set it to the spot just before it comes on, it will never turn on. The auto feature doesn't work. It's manual only. The heater is beautiful and like I said, there's no harm if it doesn't shut off where I have it, but if u really need the thermostat to work and for it to shut off at a certain temp, it's not going to work for you. ... show more
