The Sweetcrispy basketball hoops are easy to put together; you get everything you need for assembly, including tools for the nuts and bolts. However, if you have a rachet, it might be easier to use it. I like that the height can be adjusted. I'd like it better if there was a simpler way to do it, but it's not bad! All of the materials are strong and durable. The backboard is nice, as is everything else. The netting is nice and easy to put on. The instructions are simple, easy to read, and easy to follow. I can move it around from one place to another without issue, and the base can be filled with sand or water. I prefer water because it's easier to pour it out if you want to move the hoop. This basketball goal punches above its weight in many ways. It is made from decent quality materials. Has actual springs on the rim. Plus it is adjustable. However, we need to talk about that. You can set it at the height you need but it’s a 5 minute job so don’t be thinking you can just switch between heights on a whim. Also assembly was very time consuming. Not difficult exactly but not a lot of fun. Overall though for the price this is actually a really nice goal. For someone willing to spend quite a bit this is a 4 star goal but someone looking to be budget friendly it’s definitely 5 stars for the price. ... show more

My 12 year old grandson assembled this the day it arrived. By himself. That's how easy assembly is. He used the tools included. I did not realize how high some of these goals can go up. This one was one of the more affordable ones. But it's just as good as any that cost 3 times as much. It's heavy and you do have to put it together but they all come that way. Add some sand to the base and it's not moving.

This is definitely a good starter basketball hoop! It gets the job done better than most of the cheaper hoops out there and is built somewhat solid. I suggest anyone thinking about ordering this to fill the back with sand instead of water.
