I don't really write reviews unless i really like something or i really dislike something. In this case the scooter wasn't horrible but there were some major flaws that i wanted to point out. I bought this scooter to ride around town while running errands or going to my local park. I also hoped to eventually take it to work since my job is 11-16 min away but after using it, it definitely wouldn't have worked out for me. First off the breaking on this scooter SUCKS, it takes wayyy to much effort to get it to stop. Honestly the kids razor scooter has 10x better breaking than this and its a KIDS scooter. Second it does have a really good cruise (when on a flat surface) but this scooter definitely isn't for the urban streets of NY or any bumpy area. There is no suspension (which i didn't realize how important that was until i rode this scooter) so you will surely feel every bump. Kicking itself takes a lot of effort even on a flat surface. I expected to go fast even while the area was smooth and i still had to keep kicking just to get some type of speed. My legs became a little cramped so i do not recommend for long distance, it couldn't even handle a 20 min walking distance. Folding the scooter takes a bit of effort, you have to lower the height and bend down to move the latch which is annoying. On the plus side the scooter is really light so if you have to take the train, bus, or climb some stairs it wouldn't be an issue. Overall this scooter is lightweight and good for casual use but i wouldn't buy it for anything more than that. Do your research! ... show more
