Firm Means firm! So, we purchased the bed so we could have some independence of each other's needs (There is a cable that comes and will connect both beds to work in unison, we chose not to), this bed has several really great attributes, but before I get to that we had gone in knowing these would be those vacuum sealed mattress and as a guy 6'1 300 plus pounds (Wife is like 190) I was concerned because they say firm and it could come in as something way softer. The reason I am writing the review is to be helpful to anyone who wants to know how firm, very, very firm almost like a conventional firm, the only soft side is exactly that the side when I sit on the edge with my feet on the ground ,and that's the only time it's any type of soft. but when laying down it is great for anyone hoping to get something firm. The quality of the base is, and the multiple motors are strong and way better than one we had, it seems heavy duty compared the previous base we had; the motors are super strong and move smoothly. I hope this helps and below are the attributes. 1. Head Tilt (Pretty Cool and convenient) 2. Lumbar Support 3. Torso Raise 4. Feet Raised 5. Vibration from head to toe This has been a great purchase, as you know there are some items you just don't know until you get it and try it yourself, so with that I'd recommend this in hopes of giving some insight to at least try it with the 30-day trial period. If you are considering a split king adjustable, just get this one. Just do it, don't hesitate. I have had the best nights sleep I think I have ever had! It is great to sit up and watch tv, zero gravity setting is nice when your feet need a rest. I like to sleep with my head propped a bit, and the head tilt feature is nice! Also the cats like the vibrating feature. It is like human purring. Assembly took about a hour. It is very sturdy. The only thing that is annoying and would be with any split king is that the sheets have a mind of their own. ... show more

    • Sleeping at a new supported and relaxing level

My wife and I assembled split king firm 10” platinum adjustable bed. The warnings are serious about weight, bases are extremely heavy to move, but assembling legs and and mattress upper side and footboard rails were very easy. We purchased lower side rails based on the feedback. Easy to follow instructions on where to drill holes, but honestly surprised that holes were not pre drilled like the upper set on the platinum series. We purchased headboard mounting brackets, but have not installed yet. I’ve downloaded and use the app on my iPhone to adjust our beds…so convenient. Highly recommend the platinum series with the lumbar support and massage features if you can afford or want/need those features. We both enjoy a new level of comfort and sleep over our old king pillow top mattress. You can’t beat the price, I went to a local national mattress store to test the various features and mattress firmness. Recommend you do the same before you order so you can assess your needs and compare costs. For us it was easy to commit the platinum series after that visit. ... show more

    • Need to know about delivery

First, delivery is on the curb and I live in an apartment farther than the curb. Me and my son had a hard time getting it inside. The box is paper thin and barely taped so when you try pushing or carrying it, the heavy bed inside will fall right out. (They want you to pay the extra to get it delivered inside and set up). Make sure you have at least 4 people to move, dolly didn't help much. Also, everything is already set up in the bed frame so actual set up is not that bad. The bed itself seems comfortable and relieves pressure off my back with certain angles. So far I like it. I just worry the mattress will lose its "bounce back" after time. ... show more

    • Very Comfortable and sturdy

I have now had this bed (split king) for 6 months and I have to say it is one of the most comfortable bed out there. I got the 14 firm mattress as back issues do better with the more firm mattress. The almost infinite head and foot adjustments are great. The zero gravity setting takes pressure off spine and makes for a comfortable night's sleep. If you are side sleeper you will want to sightly raise the head and keep foot section level otherwise will torque your low back. As others have noted, the frame is extremely sturdy (read heavy)---and seems well make. My only criticism is the remote does not "light up" when you pick it up--you have to press a button (any button) for the light to come on--but then have to re-adjsut whatever button you used. After a month or so--I could tell by feel which buttons to use. Otherwise, I can whole hearty recommend this bed. ... show more

Bed is perfect for what it is needed for However the original description made it sound as if the headboard was included which is the main reason I purchased this one. Probably would not have spent this much if I had known ahead of time that the headboard was not included.

We had issues with shipping damage to two frames, but SleepGeekz was all over it and promptly sent a replacement frame, followed by a motor assembly to repair yet some more shipping damage. The repair took literally 8 minutes. The bedframes are awesome, five stars. We got the medium-firm 9" mattresses bundled with the frames for a total cost of $2300 including shipping, tax, and two discounts (there's an even better $250 discount being offered right now 3/3/2020). This is the only bundle for anywhere near $2K that includes six-motor adjustability for head, torso, legs, lumbar, and massage. The mattresses are 4 stars, not bad and we find them very comfortable for sleeping. When you move around on the bed, your hands, elbows, and knees sink in a lot and make it harder to move around. I have gotten used to this but I think it requires a little more upper body strength than most people are used to. The massage is better than expected, but in the end it is just simple vibrating the head platform or foot platform with two motors that can be set at three different speeds. We both like it despite its relative simplicity. We can confirm along with many others that the two twin XL frames fit nicely inside the perimeter of our Stickley king bedframe. ... show more

We needed something that we could adjust to our own comfort level including what kind of sheets we use be we are total opposites but still can sleep next to each other. This bed including the way the frame sits it perfect. I feel so much more rested when I wake up and I enjoy adjusting it to my needs that day without spending a fortune to do so. The massage is mainly a soothing vibration, but my dogs love it. We did end up buying a free standing storage head board on Amazon as well that pairs perfectly with our needs and doesn’t affect the adjustments of the bed. We also bought pet stairs on Amazon for our corgis to safely get in and out of bed. When the time comes for our mattresses to need replaced I will definitely buy these mattresses again. We went with split king which is 2 twin xl mattresses. Basically a king solit in half. My tall husband fits perfectly in it! ... show more
