We looked at many adjustable beds before deciding on this one, but I'm so glad we chose this. It is a wonderful bed! The adjustable base is great for my severe, chronic back pain (that zero G setting feels like heaven on my bad days), and it helps my husband with his hiatal hernia and acid reflux (we're a mess lol), not to mention snoring! Plus, it's great to be able to sit up to read in bed. We went with the 14" hybrid mattress, which is great. It has the softness and cushion of the foam mattresses, but the underlying support of the innerspring (I like a softer mattress because my hip bones get sore if it's too firm, but my husband likes a firmer one... this is a nice compromise, and neither of us has any complaints). We received the bed within a week of ordering. Assembly is easy...the directions are very clear. The mattresses are heavy, so it took both of us to heft them on, and about 24 hrs for them to recover their full height. There was little off-gassing; other than the smell of the plastic they were wrapped in, they didn't smell much at all. We bought the bed in April, so we've used it for 4 months now. We haven't had any issue with the mechanics (the remotes and bases are still working perfectly). I'll update if something breaks, but so far everything is going well. The mattresses are uber comfy! I'm glad I chose these instead of trying to find others... these are perfect for us. I have owned high end beds (I had a Sleep Number a few years ago, but the controls kept going out), and cheaper Costco memory foam mattresses. No mattress has been such a nice balance of softness and support. They are not hot (I sleep hot, and I hated my first memory foam mattress because of that). They are very thick. I have to make sure I buy deep pocket sheets (it uses twin XL). Our one complaint is that the bed, combined with the mattresses, is very high off the floor for our smaller dog (the legs are 12", and the mattress 14"). I contacted the company, but the only other option is 4" legs (you can order those from them), and that would make it lower than is comfortable for me to make the bed with my bad back. Something in the 6-8" range would be ideal. On that note, I suggest a bedskirt with this because it looks a little cheap without one (the legs are solid, but just welded metal). The good thing about it being so high is there's plenty of underbed storage! My only other suggestion is that the mattresses do move around a bit. They sell side supports that keep them straight (the bed comes with the ones for the foot already). I have been fine with just pushing them back on the 1-2" they might move overnight when I make the bed each morning because they slide easily. I like being able to just slide them apart when I change the sheets... it's so much easier than trying to shove the fitted sheets on in between the mattresses...so I opted not to buy the side retainers, but if it bothers you, those are available. We opted not to use this with a bed frame; instead, we had a headboard made that mounts directly to the wall. This makes it much easier to clean under, IMO. King comforters fit well, but they can have different lengths, so mind the measurements and err on the side of larger...these thick mattresses mean a longer/wider blanket is in order. We also opted for a large flat sheet (king), but individual twin XL blankets because I had trouble finding a blanket large enough for both of us. Comforters and duvets are more widely available in different sizes. I would definitely recommend this bed, especially at this price point. I'm happier with it than any other bed I've owned. Fwiw, I contacted the company about shorter legs and they responded within 24 hours, and were very helpful, so there is service after the sale here. We are very satisfied (and well-rested) customers.

It was relatively easy to put together. The mattress is thick and somewhat heavy. The legs on the frame are not adjustable, thus the bed is pretty high. It takes several hours to expand the mattress (it comes rolled up in a box) but it is sleeepable the first night. I have been sleeping on the bed for 4 months now and I find it very comfortable. It is adjustable (head & foot) which is very convenient. I would like to add a vibration unit, if possible, but even without it I am very happy with the bed.

The Sven & Son Essential Adjustable Bed Base (Frame) + 14 inch Hybrid Spring Matt (Medium Soft) was well packaged and easy to assemble. I would recommend two People for the assembling Process. The Remote Control is very easy to understand and to use. The Hybrid Spring Matt (Medium Soft) is very comfortable. The only (slight) Problem that I have had with the Bed is that the Mattress does not remain anchored to the Bed FRAME but will move a Bit each Time the Bed is used. This is not a "deal-breaker". I just push it back into Place when I make the Bed. Overall, I would highly recommend this Bed.

This bed is as advertised. Easy to set up. Comfortable mattress. Love the ability to raise the feet and head. I have edema in my legs and it really helps to be able to have my legs raised without resorting to a stack of pillows. My issue is I am a short, senior woman and the bed set up is tall for me. I cannot sit on the mattress or get on the bed without some effort. The legs on the frame are not adjustable. If it was an inch or two lower to the floor, it would be perfect. A set of shorter legs would be helpful. Another improvement I would like to suggest is to provide an edge of some sort around the corners of the frame so that the mattress won't slide around as much. That is probably caused by the wriggling around I have to do to get up on the mattress. There is a bar at the foot to prevent it from sliding off at that end but it doesn't keep the mattress from sliding sideways. I have used this bed for about 16 months .

If I could give 10 stars I would! Ordered Wednesday, supposed to receive Monday. Actually received bases on Friday, mattresses Saturday. I bought the split king. Setup was simple. Bases weigh 98lbs ea so two person lift. Beds were same. Mattresses were 14 in medium soft and that is a true description. I slept so good! No weird smells as read on other reviews. I believe any smell would just be the plastic wrapping. Quality of matresses and bases was great! I researched my purchase looking at many brands most were $3k-$9k which was too expensive for me. I purchased this due to positive reviews and am so happy! I slept so well and would definitely recommend! Price was great, I purchased on July prime day and got this on a lightening deal at $1,434, normal price was $1,794.

Best bed ever - for me anyway !! This is my first adjustable bed,and I can’t believe I waited so long to get one. The mattress is perfect, a medium soft just as described. There’s no way not to find a comfortable position with this bed. I sleep better and I don’t wake up with my back aching. I was afraid of getting hot with the memory foam, but I haven’t. We ordered the twin adjustable base and mattress. These are branded Sven and Son but are sold/shipped by Sleep Geekz based in Florida. We did a lot of research and felt this would be our best online experience. Not so much. First, re: SG: we received a email shortly after the order was placed on Amazon. The email said in-home assembly WAS an option and to reply to the email within 24 hours to purchase, which we did. When I called, the clerk said they could not provide that service. When I escalated, Robert came on and first said it was too late to add to the order. When I pointed out I was within their deadline he said they didn't offer it. Then he said it was too expensive for us (about $250). When I said my husband was ill and we needed the service he said it was too late as the order had already shipped. When I asked if I could cancel the order since we really needed the service he said I'd have to pay to return it. Decided to proceed with the delivery. It arrived in two large boxes that I could not have moved at all by myself. Hired a handyman and enlisted a neighbor to move boxes inside. The handyman was able to put it all together in about 30 minutes: not complicated, just awkward. Definitely should put together in the room in which the bed will reside. Here's the really disappointing part: on the first night of use, I heard screaming for help. My husband was laying on the floor with the mattress on top of him. He and the mattress had gone flying off the base. (Yes: we had aligned the mattress on top of the base; they are exactly the same width. The bed is in the middle of the room, v against the wall, which might work well. We can't do that in our house). He was ok, except for a bloody elbow where it had smacked the wall. As you can imagine, we were not thrilled and he's pretty nervous about continuing to sleep on it. We immediately bought a gripper pad that is supposed to keep a mattress from moving around (found on Amazon). Every day we re-align the mattress on top of the base as it moves around and he focuses on staying in the very middle of the mattress and not moving during the night. There is no way we could return a product like this: taking it apart, putting it into shipping cartons, organizing a return shipment, paying that cost again. Probably best to get something like this from a store than online. 3 stars since he really likes the feel of the mattress ... when he's not worried about sliding off the base!

We were looking for a frame and mattress for an extra bedroom. Since this option supplied both it caught our attention. We ordered the queen size frame and mattress. The boxes came with no damage. My wife and I set everything up in about an hour. NO TOOLS REQUIRED!!! Then we laid out the mattress. Wow. Super comfortable. We could not believe our luck. When you have not had the opportunity to try it beforehand you are not sure what you are getting. This mattress could not be better. The frame goes up and down - great for reading and not snoring. We bought the medium and are very happy. Please keep in mind you will probably need 2 people to set it up. At least for us the queen mattress was too heavy for one person.
