I love the light strings, however be aware that the plug is very close to the first bulb so in my case I lost about 5 feet of height since my power source is near the ground.

First of all, each 50FT string is fairly lightweight. I suspended a 3/32" steel cable between the points that I wanted lit. Then used black nylon tie wraps to suspend each fixture. It was the perfect combination. Each bulb has a hard plastic lens that held up well during the mounting process. The feature that allows up to 13 strands to a single source is wonderful. I used up to 3 on a single source without negative aspects. After evaluating the "soft glow" and the attractiveness of this set, I purchased another 3 sets to add in other locations on the property. I am very pleased with the quality and will update my comment on durability, when I figure out the lifespan. Each 50FT strand comes with a spare bulb!! ... show more

I like the costco style heavy gauge main wire, and this is thinner, but these still have the e26 bulb base, allowing for easy swap of bulbs as needed. The packaging took a while to u wind, it was wire tied in several different spots. Bonus, it is one long strains verses two strands. Overall, this is my new preferred strong lights after my last manufacturer changes to a cheap style main wire with candelabra bases.... ... show more

Hung the lights up in my back yard and they are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because the lights were extremely tangled when I pulled them out of the box. Great lights guys.

These lights are great and I am happy with my purchase. They are just bright enough without being jarring in comparison to pitch black while still providing enough light to see everything well. The color is perfect for a comfortable, low-key environment. They are somewhat bulky and hard to manipulate but that could be due to the temperatures here in February. I believe they flicker at 60hz. The only thing I did not appreciate was the way they were packaged, they were very tangled and took me a good while to get them laid out properly. ... show more
