I bought this tool for a project to help a friend clear out a bunch overgrown trees and shrubs. My arms couldn't take anymore of the usual pruner, chop, chop. I knew I had to get some help and this was exactly what I needed. Great little tool to have around and I don't think I will ever use the manual pruner again. Don't need to! Right out of the box, I assembled it and took it on a 2 hour test drive and it didn't miss a beat. I thought that if it only lasted one round out in the yard it would be worth it. I used the 6" blade the whole time and it powered through every single task. I'm sure it would cut more, but I wanted it to cut back 1" sized branches and it did just that. The instructions were a little hard to understand and I wish there was an easier way to show which way the blade goes on better and I wish the screw was a little easier to adjust and I also wish it fit into the case without taking the blade off. Other than those things it was a pretty awesome little chainsaw. Cut through a bunch of limbs and a small tree that our construction crew had taken down and I had to saw up. I only used one of the batteries because I got wore out before it did....lol ... show more

It works just as advertised. Instructions on assembly aren't great; it isn't really clear but you do not have to remove the blade guard to install or remove the blade. My biggest issue is that you must remove the blade in order to get it to fit back into the case.

I bought this with some skepticism about whether or not it would be valuable to my yard work this spring 23. 1. Case is nice and great for organizing 2. Multiple sizes of chain length I found to be useful and easily interchangeable 3. Battery life is the same as other 24v tools so it can handle chewing threw several independent 2” branches on one charge - I got 10 before I stopped counting and it still kept going 4. The chain tightening screw is in an extremely difficult area to adjust 5. Directions/instructions: minimal and mostly in Chinese with translation to English - mostly 6. The gloves are not cut resistant at all (nor did I expect them to be for the price)- not slip resistant - need some gloves with latex to keep grip 7. This is definitely for right handed users 8 overall I am quite satisfied with this purchase - now will it last? ... show more

Being an old lady that needs to go outside and do some pruning on her trees that are going wild I'm quite surprised and thrilled this works it's not heavy so I don't get fatigued in my hands that are arthritic it's very easy to use and extremely powerful so four stars for this little baby

    • The 1 Battery doesn't hold charge.
The saw did what I thought it would but the one battery doesn't hold a charge like the first battery. We had an ice storm and I was able to cut up to 2.5" round dia logs, most of time I am cutting 1" or less dia branches. I have used it quite a bit and impressed what it will do.
