After dealing with power strips with too short cords and having them flip over time and again, or figuring the correct placement for them, this is a more than welcome change. Also, being able to turn off certain rows is a definite plus. Have suggested this to friends and family members.

I liked the smaller footprint of this surge protector. There's enough "stuff" without taking up all the shelf with a foot of another style. But it feels so plastic-y and not very sturdy. It has the USB connections on one side. It has the buttons on top to turn the outlets on or off. Good features. The cord is heavy and a good length. I wish it felt more solid. The cord weighs more than the actual surge protector, if that gives you an idea. I'm sure it doesn't need to be heavy to do the job...but I am used to something like this feeling like it will actually protect you and your things. ymmv

I used this to set up a charging station in the Man Cave near my husbands favorite chair. Enough plugs for everything. Heavy and generous length cord. I am one to not leave things charging or plugged in when I am asleep or gone, just to be safe. Chargers do fail! Love this has easy to flip switches to cut the power, so I don't have to yank cords out of sockets. Absolutely love this tower!
