With a blinding, peak beam intensity of 100,000 candela using the included SF18650B rechargeable lithium-ion battery, or 90,000 candela with two 123A batteries, the EDC2-DFT delivers the farthest-reaching beam of any compact SureFire EDC handheld light. You'll see farther into the dark to positively identify a potential threat, and the EDC2-DFT also provides ample spill light for situational awareness. In addition, the EDC2-DFT offers more runtime by virtue of its more energy-dense power sources. Constructed of lightweight aerospace aluminum, Mil-Spec hard-anodized, and O-ring sealed to keep out the elements, the body and tailcap are also knurled for a secure grip. A sturdy, two-way clip offers the added flexibility of bezel-up or bevel-down carry.
