I bought this 3 weeks ago and have been using it 3-4x / week since. I will update this review in a few months, when I have a better idea of its durability. Installation took about 5 hours to complete by myself. It wasn't too strenuous but be sure to follow the instructions (side note, the installation video that's on the Amazon product page was very helpful, I probably referenced it a dozen times when the paper instructions were confusing or didn't show enough detail). Also be sure to have a socket wrench / attachment that fits- the wrenches the rack comes with will work, but it would probably take you twice as long and 3x the backache. Stability is great: I've loaded 400 lbs on the squat rack and there's a tiny bit of wiggle when loading / unloading, but that's happened on every rack I've used, even at large gyms. Little to no sway when I'm doing pullups (I'm 220 lbs for reference). I typically keep some weight loaded on the pulleys, so this may be helping with the rack stability slightly; regardless, in no way does it feel like a light or cheap rack, which was my main concern going in. The cables are better than I expected given the price, but they're not amazing, especially when pulling on extreme angles. The cable attachments do the job, but they're not very comfortable - I plan to upgrade these soon. The rest of the attachments (J-hooks, safety bars, dip bars, etc.) do the job just fine. One complaint I see is that the weights are loaded on the back, so you can't push this against a wall to save space. As a workaround, you don't have to install the weight holders on the back - I just didn't attach them and I use a weight tree that I already had. This machine is perfectly adequate for the home gym. My ceiling is 8 feet tall and it works just fine in the space. If you are taller than 6 foot, you might feel that the travel on seated lat pulls is a bit short for full extension using a standard bench. This problem is eliminated if you sit on the floor or on a shorter bench. Also, consider that the pulleys are 2:1. So to lift 100 lbs you need 200 lbs of weight. 2:1 makes the pulleys very smooth but requires more plates. For seated cable rows I find that I’m limited to about 135 lbs with coated plates. The stem can fit three 45 ritfit plates on each side plus maybe a 10? If I had cast iron, you could probably fit 4 plates go up to 180 lbs on that exercise as the plates are thinner. So if you are exceptionally strong, this home gym won’t be the end all of your workout needs. But this has been great for me. ... show more

I spent several weeks looking at different power cages on Amazon and elsewhere trying to decide which one would be best for me. One of my major concerns was whether it would be sturdy or if it would have some wiggle. The design of this machine seemed to me to be the sturdiest design of all the cages I looked at and I can say it is rock solid. Another selling point for me is the heighth of the machine, I only have 94 inches from floor to ceiling and I was concerned about smashing my head into the ceiling while doing pull ups. This machine has the lowest heighth of them all plus the handles are mounted a little lower so I have plenty of clearance for me noggin. I did have some reservations about the fixed position close grip and wide grip handles instead of a straight bar, in fact I almost didn't buy it for that reason, but I'm glad I did. The handles are perfect where they are. The third selling point for me is the dual weight trollies at the sides instead of a single trolly at the rear of the machine. This allows for the cable pullies to be completely independent of each other. Almost every workout that I do includes doing a circuit of three of four exercises at least and with this machine I can set one pully for one exercise and the second pully for a different exercise with a completely different amount of weight. Another nice thing about that is if you plan on using a weight tree to rack your plates then you don't need to install the posts on the back of the cage, thus allowing to position the cage only a couple inches from the wall. Assembly was a breeze. I had this all put together in just a couple hours. I did have to run to the hardware store for a couple washers and also the eye hooks for accessory storage were to short to go through the tube steel but it's no big deal. Cost me about ten dollars for new hooks and some washers. It's only been a couple weeks and I still haven't gotten my olympic bar or bench yet but I am very happy with this machine. Only negative I can say about it is that the dip bar handles are too narrow and they hurt my hands. They are about 1.25 inches in diameter with the foam, so probably a 1" steel bar. I plan on solving this issue by buying a piece of pvc pipe to slide over the handles to create a fatter handle. ... show more

I will start out with if I could have found something similar that fit in the space I have that was Made in the USA, I would not have bought this. That being said I needed a All in One that fit the space I have. Assembly was pretty simple, but instructions leave something to be desired as instructions could have been written better. One part was bent on arrival, but did not effect assembly. A few parts of assembly really need 2 people. If you are over 5'3" this may be too small for you at it is not very tall. Bar dip, J=hooks, and safety bars are well made. Cable mechanism works good. Lat pull down bar is small. I do like the padding on the Pull Up Bars. If you are planning on lifting heavy, this may not be for you. Reading the weight limits in the description, I would NOT try those limits! If you do your research, SupGym(PS1A) and MajorFitness(F22) are the same thing. ... show more
