BEFORE this became popular, I was attracted to it based on limited reviews in the Summer of 2022 due to it's foldability, airline friendly, maneuverability, LIGHTNESS, and BATTERY SPECS! Used this to even go: 1)door to door 8 miles lugging 260 lb (me included) grocery shopping with attached improv of Cosco Portable Dolly with 2 Collapsible, Stackable Plastic Folding Crates. Physics important so not to get stuck with inadequate power: I have 5 batteries (2 Super Handy's is 4 batteries & aftermkt buy )to deal with specified weight & gradual inclines 2)Airport: SELF Service: 100 lb luggage drop off/Pickup luggage AND shuttling between terminals even at immense London's Heathrow! Best especially with my own brain storm IMPROVISATIONS. I bought this Summer 2022 only because I found myself getting getting exhausted going from one end to another in a Walmart SUPERCENTER. I tested it thoroughly in the narrow confines of small rooms requiring excellent maneuring skills. Well designed, durable& NO issues: those encountered by others are due to either their own circumstances or judgement issues with curbs, inclines: tipping over. Just looked at the upgrade model which is so much heavier @59 lbs (prohibitive for me) vs the original at 36 lbs! Liked it so much that I have TWO: have one I flew & leave in Europe for doing ALL my errands (have an military grade backpack strapped to back of seat back & even use the handlebar for two heavy duty plastic bags)...... even in much narrower STREETS where sidewalk pavements are a "mild rollercoaster" vs flat small streets one needs to be adventuresome to tackle! Planning soon to return to Europe to buy a German car for Nomadic life there: will keep it in car for exploring European cities where many have been car closing. Late in September in US found I need a new alternator & that's where I had a brainstorm to return my plates saving $120 auto insurance per MONTH as I am away for a year or longer & came up with my brainstorm & just needed to find a workable "tow bar" as I had the rest of what is pictured. So on lower collapsible plastic crate are six gallons of H2O (50 lbs!) + overflowing on top are largely heavy fruits/vegetables and the military grade backpack secured to seat back: why I take six batteries for the 4 mile LADEN return! thru streets/sidewalks Likely not what I had in mind, nor the designers or many users will ever use it for! BTW have a highly rated NEW foldable EBike I also improvise recently to run the above grocery errand doing up to 20 mph BUT until I fully rehab my right hip reflexor NOT worth the risk! That's why 5 Stars!

I purchased my scooter in September 2023. It arrived two days before I left for a seven day cruise. I took it out of the box, charged the batteries, put it in my car and left for the airport, all on the same day. This scooter has been a game changer. I love to travel but with increased mobility issues I had been restricted in what I could do. This scooter helped open new opportunities for adventure. I've flown with it several times, I was able to take it right up to the plane and they stored it for me under the plane. Once we landed it was waiting for me when I got off the plane. It was perfect for the cruise, the batteries last for a really long time, one battery was usually enough for a full day of sightseeing. When I've had to contact customer service they have been very polite and helpful and were able to resolve my issues. I drive a KIA Sportage and the scooter fits easily in the back with plenty of room. I'm not a strong person but I've been able to lift the scooter in and out of my car without issue. ***Update 8/23/25 I loved my first scooter but the airline decided to destroy so I had to get a replacement. A lot of what I loved about the scooter has remained the same but they did make a couple of changes that I feel were detrimental to scooter. You can no longer turn it off, after 15 minutes it goes into standby. This means that the batteries are constantly being drained and as a result don't last as long. Previously I was able to turn it off when waiting in line to save battery life. Also, it's much harder to put the battery in the compartment. My first scooter you opened the hatch, tossed the battery in and off you went. Now you have to line it up just right, it has to hook on the top of the compartment and with arthritis this can be difficult. I just took my new one on a cruise last week and it was just as helpful as before but I was having to charge batteries during the day when before one battery would cover the entire day, excursions included. Still a great scooter but I feel like the changes make it less ideal and easy to use.

I searched for weeks looking everywhere for the perfect scooter we were going on a family trip and I needed Mobility we were going to a water park and I can't walk very good first family vacation in a long time so I definitely was going to find something but I needed something portable lightweight and small to fit in the vehicle that was in. Finally I decided that this was it this was the one I was going to choose was very leery though about the weight limit that was kind of the problem I was trying to find one with all the qualities I needed the portability the lightweight and for it to be foldable. No weight limit on this one I believe says like 275 or something like that well I would not say that accurate I weigh about 340 so I was really skeptical about getting it but you know what so glad I went and took the chance I love it I have no problems with it at all so those of you that are skeptical because of the way limit no worries mine isn't had any problem getting up and going I love that the battery life on it the backup battery I put headlights on mine until it's LOL my dog rides in a little bag in front and we scoot on down the street but I did read a previous review and I must say they are right about the stability like if it's on even sidewalk be careful cuz I almost fell and if you hit the corners too fast you will flip and it will not go in grass so those are all the only negatives though other than that it weighs like 40 lb you pick it up so easy you folded up throwing your back seat I have a Nissan Maxima goes in there just fine definitely definitely if you need some Mobility get this scooter and unlike those medical chairs I don't feel so self-conscious I just call it my little scooter and I have no problem riding it

I’m a 78 year old woman and can’t walk long distances due to a medical problem. I wanted to use this scooter to quietly ride along the intercoastal waterway and BrookGreen Gardens in Myrtle Beach and be able to carry a camera and a small purse in the carry bag. Pros: Very easy to steer and operate. Quiet Moved along fairly quickly, guessing about 3 mph. It went faster on smooth pavement sidewalks than it did on asphalt walkways. The seat was comfortable. I went about 3 miles and it’s still showing as fully charged. Initial charge was quick once I learned it was never going to show 4 green lights. I did have to remember to use the brake when I wanted to stop and not just take my hand off the throttle. But it didn’t take too long to learn that lesson. I like the attached tote bag. Roomier than I expected. Cons: The foot pegs got uncomfortable pretty quickly. I kept moving my feet to various locations on the pegs because they became uncomfortable quickly. I wish there were wider foot pads to go over the pegs. Wish the seat could be moved a little closer to the steering column. I DID come close to tipping over twice when the sidewalk was in front of handicap parking spot. The sidewalk suddenly goes to a sharp sideway incline. The first time caught me by surprise but was able to put my leg out and caught myself before I went down. The second time I was more prepared and was watching for it and slowed down and took a look to see the best way navigate that area. The wheels are small and firm and you feel every little bump. But I got used to it. Would be nice if they were larger and a little softer. THE DECIDING FACTOR will be when I break it down and put it in the car for short road trip to the boardwalk at the beach. I’m hoping to do that tomorrow. If I can easily and quickly take it apart and put it in the back of my SUV and quickly reassemble it again I will definitely keep it for the full 30 day trial and hopefully permanently. Will update. UPDATE: Well the rain and has finally ended and got a good sunny day. So tried taking the scooter out of the suv trunk and putting it together. This was also a good day to try because I am having a pretty weak day and would be a day I would I need to use it if I had to. When I put it in the car, I try to make sure the wheel with the motor is on the left so I can reach it and hold onto it when taking the bike out of the car. Because my arms are weak, I can’t get it safely out without dropping it unless holding onto the wheel/motor. I leave it completely assembled except for the seat. And keep the handle bars in the lowest position. That way it doesn’t block my back window. PUTTING IT TOGETHER after removing from the car 1: 🤦♀️ be sure you turn the steering wheel in the right direction if you don’t keep it attached. At first I put it on backwards. Which was really easy to do. I centered the front wheel, locked the clamps and sat in the seat…only to realize the throttle and speed was on the left and the writing was upside down. Oops! 2. Once I turned the steering wheel around and centered the wheel, it was easy to tighten the clamps to hold it at my preferred height. 3. I adjusted the seat height and clamped it with no problem. I did go to a bicycle repair shop to see if they could add flat pedals or a floor board so I wouldn’t need to put my feet on the pegs. They said no. FINAL RESULTS: I’m keeping the bike!!! It’s not 100% perfect but close enough. The batteries are still fully charged since my very first use. That’s awesome. • The seat is comfortable, it’s easy to steer, my purse and puppy fit in the front tote for short rides around the pond or waterway and my camera fits in fine without the puppy. • Even on a weak day I can easily get it in and out of the car. •. I don’t keep the batteries in the bike but keep them in a small tote bag in the house. I can easily check to see if one needs charging and can charge it up before going out for a ride if I need to. I Definitely recommend this mobility scooter.

Update: I contacted the seller because my sibling lost a part to my mom's scooter. I simply asked for the dimensions of the part so I can find it in the local hardware store or if they wouldn't mind sending me the part. The part that is missing s very small and has insignificant cost, but I just didn't know the size. It's a pin dowel but it's used to lock the seat of the scooter in place so it's an important part. The seller responded to the extent of "It's been more than 30 days so we can't give a refund" . Well let s see I never asked for a refund. That is horrible service. Not even bothering to read the question says a lot. The scooter works but I would not buy from them again, I would rather pay more money than not be able to get a simple question answered. I was able to find the part in my local hardware store for about $5. I just bought a couple of sizes . I'll test this weekend when I visit my mom to see if they work. So basically they lost a customer and supporter because someone was lazy to read a question about a $5 part. I will be covering the logo on the shopping basket attached to the scooter. I will not help a company with poor customer service advertise. Original: After my brother passed, my mom got sad and just laid around the bed a lot and eventually her legs got very weak, and now she can barely walk. My mom purchased a cheap wheelchair, one of the manual ones that need to be pushed by another person, but she hated when we would push her and it was almost always turn into a small fight. When we traveled to Hawaii, it was such an inconvenience pushing a wheelchair. I purchased this mobility scooter for my mom about 6 months ago and my mom loves this thing. She likes feeling a little more independent and if you dare try to maneuver it for her, she gets angry lol. Although this isnt intended for use as a mobile wheelchair, I think its better, at least for our needs. I added a seatbelt to it, but my mom refuses to wear it. I needed something light and compact. This is exactly that. It does look like a mini bicycle with a wide seat, but sometimes simple solutions are the best. I have no problem getting this in my small car. I don't even fully take it apart, I just remove the seat and it still fits into my hatchback style trunk.

Recently diagnosed with Hashimoto’s and Chronic Fatigue, I was looking for something to help with mobility due to my very low stamina. This scooter is an excellent solution! PROS - Weight! This is the lightest mobility scooter by far. I am able to take off the chair and lift the rest of it by myself into my Honda CR-V trunk with about a minute of strenuous lifting. Getting it down is ok due to gravity. - Quiet! You can barely hear it while it’s moving and it doesn’t have the annoying beeping while backing up. - Turn Radius! I’ve gotten myself around some pretty narrow corners. You can also just lift it and try again if you need to adjust the angle. It is wobblier than a regular scooter if you go too fast. So I’d only recommend it for people with good balance. I have been fine so far, but I can understand why other reviews talk about tipping over. - Design! It is sleeker than the standard mobility scooters. People aren’t as surprised when I start standing up and walking around. The seat is comfortable to sit in, although it would be nice to have armrests. - Batteries! To charge it, the 2.5 lb batteries can be taken off the scooter in 2 sec. I don’t need to bring the scooter out of my car to charge it— just the batteries. - Accessories! I was able to add the Accmor Universal Cup Holder to hold my phone or a drink while steering. The bag that comes with it is helpful for holding my purse or a bike lock. - Traveling! I just took it on a plane for the first time. Worked really well! I rode it all the way down the gangway, where they check it like the strollers [see pics]. I took the two lithium batteries with me on the plane. They brought it back up when we landed. I flew Southwest but be sure to check with your airline for their rules. CONS - Security. Because it turns on with a push button, there is no good way to secure it. I wish it had a key. Plus, bc it is so light, it is easier to steal. I recommend using a bicycle lock and cable AND taking the batteries with you if you leave it. - Weight. It would still be pretty difficult to lift for someone with more serious fatigue or less strength. - Length. I’m 5’4” and I need to lean a bit forward to reach the handles. My back does not touch the seatback while driving. The distance between the seat and handles is not adjustable. However the handle height and seat height are. - Marketing. Super Handy is written in large, bright orange letters on the bag, steering column, and chair. So it’s the first and last thing people see as you are coming and going. I flipped the bag around, and my cane stool covers it when I hang it off the seatback using Crutch-eze cane holders or a bungee cord. THINGS TO BE AWARE OF - Assembly time. It takes me a good five minutes to re-assemble it bc I adjust it back to the right height and line up the steering column. In parking lots, I’m always a little worried that someone backing up might not see me since I’m lower to the ground. I sometimes re-assemble it on the side of my car instead, if there is enough room. - Brakes. There is a handlebar brake like those on bikes that can be clicked to stay in place. The scooter won’t move while it’s engaged. However, on slight inclines, it is not enough to prevent the scooter from rolling downhill. It may be something that just needs to be adjusted to correct that, but even so, it’s not a deal brake-er. #sorrynotsorry Overall, I am so glad I got this scooter. It’s given me back some independence and the ability to keep working, now that I can get around again by myself.

This review is for the SuperHandy Passport Mobility Scooter - Foldable 3 Wheel scooter GUT 112. I have had this scooter for a month now, and it continues to work well. I have mobility issues stemming from a broken femur last fall, so it was difficult for me to shop for groceries with my husband. We enjoy shopping for food and household items together, and I did not want to have my groceries picked out by a store employeee. So, this scooter is the solution to the problem. When we go shopping, I am riding in front in the scooter, and my husband is behind me with the shopping cart. The scooter is amazingly maneuverable and turns easily around the grocery aisles. Another important factor to consider with this scooter is that it is lighweight. At 35-37 pounds, my 81 year old husband can lift it into the back of our Honda CRV. The scooter folds in the middle, so my husband can fold the scooter and load it into the CRV fairly easily with no other disassembly necessary. And, the groceries still fit in the back of the CRV as well. I would caution that, since the scooter is very lightweight, it tends to bounce over rough ground. It is designed for store aisles and smooth pavement only. I would not recommend riding it in the yard or other ground. If you hit a bump or hole in the ground, the result might not be good. That said, I feel very secure when riding the scooter in a parking lot to get to the store entrance, and it is perfectly balanced in the store aisles. Also, there is an excellent video on YouTube showing how to assemble the scooter. Just be sure that you are watching the video for the GUT 112 scooter. Assembly is easy, but the video makes it even easier. I would recommend this scooter to anyone.

What a great product, truly remarkable. My girlfriend has mobility issues due to a serious car accident over a year ago. We love to travel and especially love cruises. Unfortunately, a few months ago we took a cruise and discovered that due to her mobility issues we were unable to enjoy the cruise as we had in the past. We booked another cruise in July on Norwegian heading North out of Baltimore. We looked into renting a scooter but discovered it was going to cost $400.00/ week for a rental. Consequently, we started looking into buying our own. After much research and reviews we felt the SuperHandy would easily meet our needs and our pocketbook. We ordered one and were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we received it and how easy it was to assemble. We left for our cruise on 9/1/2023. Due to its size, weight and portability were we able to use Uber to the port. My girlfriend was able to ride on her SuperHandy from the Uber drop off, through check-in and right to our cabin. Due to its size, we were able to park it in our somewhat small cabin right in front of the small sofa. SuperHandy permitted my girlfriend to go anywhere and everywhere on the ship. While in port she was able to transport all over. We did 10 miles in Boston she on SuperHandy and me walking. Her battery went red just has we got back to the cruise terminal. Also, 2 of our ports were tendered (boat from anchored Cruise ship to port). Due to its size and weight, she was able to go and enjoy these ports. Many of those on larger and heavier scooters were not. We flew home and consequently we again were able to Uber to the airport and home. My girlfriend was able to ride her SuperHandy right down the jet way where she removed the battery and they then took it and put it on the plane. When we landed, they put it back on the jet-way for her and she rode up the jet-way and out to the Uber pick-up location. Overall, she was able to go just about anywhere. Occasionally, she would encounter a curb that was a bit high or had a wide gap. In these incidences It was easy for me to pick up SuperHandy and move it over these spots. So many on the ship made inquirers about this great little mobility scooter. We were happy to tell them all about it. This truly is a win- win for most who have mobility issues. Great Product at an even greater price.
