    • Wireless remote not working
Have only had to use the winch once in the last year. Winch worked fine but the wireless remote is not working. Talked to customer support today and was told I would have to replace the solenoid too and the cost of a new remote would be $65 plus shipping. Not a happy customer today.

Like the rope, haven’t tried the remote yet. Being used for snowplow. The solenoid is bigger than the previous one I had, so mounted it under the hood.

The instructions are vague/incomplete, but I think I'm a fairly capable person, and I have youtube, so I gave it a go. I first attempted the mounting bracket. It didn't fit. I checked if the inventory was wrong, nope - ok, so what happened?? I looked at the amazon page and below where it says "This item fits your vehicle" there was a disclaimer that I'll need to buy a different mounting bracket... Ok - that doesn't seem to agree with "this item fits your vehicle" but ok, I'll share the blame for that. On to the next thing - put the switch on the dash, that went ok, but a template for cutting the hole sure would of been nice. Next - install the solenoid box... Turns out the supplied hardware doesn't fit in the solenoid box holes. Ok, I have spare hardware - but nothing that fits through the hole and in the spot below the reservoir where the SuperATV instructional video shows me to put it... ok, so ream the holes so the hardware will fit through the solenoid box hole - now I get one screw installed but the spacing is off on the other (should be 4 holes, but there's only 2 and the 2 don't line up with anything). I gave up at this point and requested a refund. They want me to pay the shipping to send it back. I will not buy from this vendor again and will be making a complaint with Amazon. ... show more

Mounted up easily on the superatv winch plate. On my Kawasaki KRX the install was simple. Kawi engineers left an empty conduit that runs directly to the batter from the winch. The Amazon page says that this winch does not fit but that is incorrect information. It fits perfectly. Added a rocker switch on the dash but the remote is the best part. Used this winch to move trees out of trail this past weekend without any problem. ... show more
