Static free as advertised. I think the range is longer than advertised. Worked even in a big bricked house. No block signal. Good decent toy walkie talkie for kids. Work well at a park if you want to check on your kids.

    • Cute but Luigi won't turn off when switched to off.
this wouldn't be the worst and would just drain the battery except for the other radio interface that comes through... can't leave the batteries in or else it will constantly recieve signals ... making it almost useless because taking the batteries in and out just to turn it off is impractical
