I bought the robe in Teal Green, which I would describe as a deep Christmas green. The robe is a medium weight, not too thin so as to feel flimsy and not too thick and heavy so as to be cumbersome. It feels good to slip into it after a shower because it’s warm and absorbent. The sleeves stay securely rolled up and remain out of the way when doing household chores. I have had no problem with snagging, but I make sure not to wash and dry the robe with items containing zippers or other catchable pieces. I’m also careful about using a hairbrush so that the bristles don’t get caught in the loops. The robe is 50” long; I wish it was a couple of inches longer. I am 5’4” and bought the xl/xxl to get maximum length (plus I don’t think there is any such thing as a robe being too large), and the length hits me mid-calf. The belt loops and pockets are positioned a bit low, but I don’t see that as a deal breaker. Overall, I think the robe is a good value and I’m glad I bought it. ... show more

    • EVERYTHING I HOPED IT WOULD BE!
This was exactly what I was looking for! I first bought a very heavy Turkish towel robe to replace my bath towel - because somehow "heavy" equated to "quality" in my mind, you know? Although it was cozy to slip on in the cold of winter, it was SO thick and heavy that it was difficult to towel off with. It also was quite large through the shoulders but narrow through the hips. I next tried a very lightweight waffle weave robe, to use in our hot summers. Again, comfortable and cool enough after a shower or bath, but not very effective as a towel, and again, the girth was too small. Because it was white, it showed stains from the rose oil I apply after bathing. This one is JUST RIGHT - I feel like Goldilocks, lol. It's a perfect weight - not too thick, not too thin - and quite absorbent. It fits much better through the shoulders, and there's plenty of material to keep it closed around the hips. (I wear size 18/20, with most of my weight in my rear.) The color is nice, too - and dark enough not to show oil spots. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I have been looking to replace my 20year old terrycloth robe for some time, and had to order and return 2 from this vendor until I got a reasonable size. The material is not as plush as my old robe, but the price is less too, and it's sufficient for my needs. I do wish the inside ties were not made of ribbon, as they can irritate your skin when you use them. I generally overlap the wrap a lot and cinch tight. This bath robe is amazing! It has quite a weight to it, but in my opinion, that’s what makes it so great. I washed it before using per instructions. Some reviews mentioned fraying strings, but I maybe had one, and not a big deal. It literally dries my skin within a minute or two! It feels so good on the skin, soft, warm, heavy (in a sense that it just falls so nicely over the body) and fit is not restrictive at all. I usually wear XS/S, but I got this robe in S/M. I am 5’3 120lbs, and the robe reaches just few inches above the ankles. I could’ve gone with XS/S but I do like extra space. The sleeves are wide, no struggle getting and out of it, not too long either. I will keep this robe for as long it’ll serve me! Great quality. I am so glad I picked this one! If they stay on the market forever, I’ll keep buying just this brand. This would make a great gift, too! I have Sjögren’s syndrome, and I suffer with dry skin. Using towels to dry leaves my skin very dry. This robe doesn’t do that. It soaks up the moisture without drying my skin out, and when I put the lotion on, it just makes my skin breathe! Love it. Robe is thinner than I expected but that actually makes it perfect! Very absorbent, very cozy. Sizing is good, I generally wear XL and the XL/XXL is just right. Very pleased with this robe!!

This robe is a good weight, fells like good terry cloth so will be absorbent, I haven't as yet washed it so I don't know how soft it is, like I said, it Feels like good terry cloth so it should be Soft as well.

I like the way it fits. I'm 4'10" and the hem reaches somewhere between mid-calf and my ankle. The care instructions said to wash before first use; to turn inside out and take off the belt. The loops are sort of small and it is difficult to take the belt off and put it back on and adjust it to the right length but once it is adjusted correctly, it doesn't move around and the belt will not fall out of the loops. After I washed it, I noticed the seams on the inside of a sleeve were very frayed, so I cut them off with a scissor. It is very absorbent, so much so that I don't need to towel myself off too much, the bathrobe does a very good job of drying my body. It's not soft, but more on the rough side. Certainly not plush. After using it for the last six months, I find it snags very easily. ... show more
