The chair was just what I was looking for; something to get away from the solid greens or beiges, etc. It perks up the room. It's a solid seating chair which I am sure will soften up gradually. The reason for the four star is the back is not high enough. If you want to rest your head and maybe take a snooze there is no back for your head to lean on. I put a half round neck cushion on the chair and that works but I should have paid attention to the back height - my bad! ... show more

I love this chair. It doesn't look like a recliner, and the seat is high so it's easy to stand up from for older adults. It's also high off the floor so it's easy to clean under. Perfect for a smaller room!
