Purchased Jasion Thunder and after order submitted bicycle was received on less than a week. The bike was very easy to assemble by myself, took about an hour. I was able to test the bicycle as soon as I was finished. It was very easy to ride and very fast. This is my 1st E-bike and have never ridden one before. I really like the 4" fat tires they work great for the desert terrain in AZ. On pavement and sidewalks it is very smooth. The bike stops very good with the hydraulic brakes. I am very impressed. I opened the box from the side, it made it easier to see the parts without having to pick everything up out of the box. I did have a couple faster holes I needed to tap out, the screws did not appear to thread in easily. They were left not threaded in from the factory in only those two places out of four for the rack on the back. For me this was not s big deal, this could be a problem with someone with the proper tools. The wheel relectors appear to be cheap and are not on the spokes very well. Overall I rate this E-bike very high and would recommend to friends and family.

I’ve got about 30 miles on my Jasion Thunder so far, and it’s a great e-bike! I settled for the base model because for the extra price I didn’t see a big advantage of the Pro or ST models other than a rear shock and a few extra mikes of range. The battery life is good, especially if you use pedal assist and not the motor alone. If added a quality suspension seat post and upgraded seat, upgraded pedals, a rear bag, phone holder and better tires. This bike rides well, inspires confidence, especially since upgrading to Allscape Viperess tires. I also like the app and how seamlessly it connects to the bike via Bluetooth. It’s a tad bit on the heavy side, but e-bikes generally are. It’s fast, and a lot of fun to ride. The brake light and rear turn signals are a much appreciated safety feature.

This is an initial review. Will review again in 6 months.. Not gonna lie, at first was very hesitate with this purchases after some reviews. But after some more research I took the leap due to the price. Bike arrived sooner than I thought. Packaging with great for the bike but one issue - very minor, zip ties that were for the signal lights weren't in the box. Disappointing but not a show stopper. It is heavy at 82lbs but can handle up to 400lbs, most more expensive bikes, they top at 360lbs or 300lbs. Assembly was easy but you may need another person to assist lifting it out (weighs 82lbs). I recommend following the YT video on assembly. So lets get to its Cons first: Brakes, as I saw on some other YT reviews, the brakes are a new manufacturer not the usual ones you see. These brakes expect you to gauge when to engage the brakes. If you use to other Ebikes that have the standard type, you're gonna be in for a shock. It took a day to get use to but its something to note. PAS - response is very good, but due to the size of the bike you can be using PAS 4-5 on a lot of trips to be moving at a normal rate. I use 3 as I try to make muscles still work while riding. 1-2, you will be struggling to move and no PAS (you better be a tour le france rider). But otherwise a good reaction. Pros: Frame is very solid. I had my friend who is a wielder by trade inspect it and he said the wieldings were top notch. The built in horn (ok sounds electric but loud), directional signals on the back light are nice.. The front light is very bright and rival a lot of stand alone lights. I haven't felt unsafe on the bike which is a plus, so easy to ride. Battery life looks good, though I still need to zero it out but have done 15 miles on a 80% charge out of the box, and still good. The charger and battery are UL rated (this is very important in preventing possible fires). I put on portable baskets on the rear carriage (very solid) and no issues at all. The seat takes some getting use to, so you may opt for a different style but again not a show stopper. We are in our rain season so I won't be using it in that weather as much but do tend to take out on light rainy days to give a go though I am trying to purchase an extra battery. Overall feels like a quality purchase. And it it works out, may purchase a 2nd for my nephew. For the price point under 1K, you'll be hard press to do better imo.

This bike is what my husband got. He loves it. He's ridden it all over. This thing goes fast too he had it up to 28 mph I think. Easy to pedal he did get a different seat and he had to order mirrors. It would have been better if it was free shipping. Very easy to put together. Hopefully we will have no problems. We've only had it like 3 weeks. If we have problems, I'll be back to revise this review.

I believe that this ebike may be very nice, however I have not had an opportunity to ride it yet. During assembly several nuts, washers, and screws were missing. I contacted Jaison, and while they were quick to respond they said that they did not have any extra screws, washers, or nuts to provide me with replacements. I have been offered to buy them myself and they will refund me $30. Their response was that they carefully check all bikes that they ship to ensure that the parts are all present. I provided photos of where the pieces were missing. There is a ziploc baggie that contains the tools to assemble the bike, and it was open the pieces were scattered throughout their smaller box. One of the items that I do not have is anything to tighten the display screen to the handlebar. The screws are present but much smaller than any of the tools they sent to tighten it. So, I will be partially taking the bike apart so that I can ensure that I can find the appropriate sizes. One of the items that was missin was the piece that covers the top screw, and the black flange that surrounds that screw was adhered to the packaging material and has white stuck to it. This will require a lot of cleaning and I will not have the piece that covers the top screw. Very disappointed in Jaison so far.

The bike is good quality and well made, but it doesn’t have the performance that was described by seller. I’m a 6 foot 6 inch male and the bike is too small for me to ride and on my first ride the bike would not make it up a small hill even with pedal assist. I wanted to return the bike for a refund but their return policy is not customer friendly. By their policy I could lose as much as 50% of the price and then less the shipping cost. I have learned a good lesson, don’t buy from Amazon or over the internet because they don’t tell you about the return policy.
