It’s great at finding corner brackets, staples, screws and anything of that type of metal. But when I put my gold earring down it took it a couple of seconds to recognize it. The other metals were instantaneously and from a few inches away. It’s easy to use in. The vibration level is not irritating. It does signal with a sound and it is fun to use. If you’re looking for anything other than gold this thing is spot on and highly recommend it. But if you’re looking for more precious metals it might not be your best choice.

I love the rechargeable aspect of this and it seems to have a fairly decent sensitivity. I haven't tested it in weather or rough conditions, so I can't attest to that. Good for the price

Sold as a waterproof metal detector but it is not waterproof at all. I dipped it in water and within seconds it shorted out and quit working. Dont even let it get rained on.

The media could not be loaded. Just received this metal detector wand and wow, it works well. I decided to pick this tool up just for giggles and I can say it's a great way to entertain yourself. You can see by the video that the detector picked up through a shirt and jeans. My son placed a pocketknife and an all-in-one tool and after scanning both sides of his jeans, the tool screeched because it detected the items in my son's pockets. It is extremely easy to use and in my opinion very accurate. My husband also ran it up against the wall and it found the nail or screw in the hallway wall. Not sure about the life of the battery yet since I just opened it up, but it was ready to be used once I pulled it out of the box.
