I was a little skeptical with this pinpointer since it was fairly cheap compared to the name brands and was also rechargeable (no need for 9v batteries) which is a very nice feature. It is easy to use - just the push of a button changes the settings which can be viewed on the screen for quick reference. I have submerged the whole unit in water without issue (just make sure to close the charge port cover). Definitely a decent little unit for the price and works well overall for pinpointing (as it should).

I love this metal pointer I have both the one and the two. I’m not crazy about their other one but I kept it and not this one, even if you don’t look at the instructions this one is so simple to use, mine vibrates in different levels the closer i get to metal making it so easy to find my target, it will find any kind of metal so far except titanium. You could use it to detect metal in walls even. The buttons are simple and marked well. You can’t beat this on this price point level it feels very strong not like the cheaper plastic ones. I like mine better then some of the higher dollar ones that are thinner then this one. It’s very simple to use and helps find anything metal object that you can’t find. The value for the money paid is well worth it, I would expect to pay more to have this much functionality within one metal pointer. I find myself using it to find a dropped screw in the grass. It’s so easy to use. Easy to charge and so far the charge hasn’t let me done.

It’s simple but great for finding metal. I used it in the lawn and ended up finding 20 year old tree watering pipes buried that I wouldn’t have even known about. Best use is when you drop a screw or washer on a metal free ground or foliage.
