We have central air conditioning but my husband like it much colder than me, so in the summer he moves into another bedroom with it's own window A/C. Instead of taking it out in the winter, this cover will block the wind and cold air from passing through the A/C. I measured my A/C unit outside and the appropriate sized cover fit perfectly, with maybe an inch or two to spare. We picked this up thinking it would be good for our window unit but upon further thought we realized we really don't have an off-season where we live since we pretty much use this air conditioning almost year-round. We also have a really good seal around the unit in our window so we've never had any issues with rain or wind. However it is heavy duty material and I can tell from the clips that it would secure well to the outside of the unit. If you if you live in an area seasonal weather I think this would be a great solution. ... show more
