We recently upgraded to this fan and I have to say that having a remote is probably the best part. I love that I can dim the lights, change the direction and speed, change the light color, and even put this on a timer to turn off automatically after we go to bed, and I don't have to climb up on a stool or even get out of my chair to do any of that. It's a quiet fan, too, so we can hear the tv over it when it's on. The color and style fit with our decor perfectly. We had it professionally installed so I can't speak to the difficulty level but the guy had no complaints. Got this for my daughter, she put it up herself and it looks grate. It has cool features that she can control with her phone. It also comes with a remote so if you're not tech savvy you can just use it. The only negative is the light could be brighter, not a big enough issue to loose a star over though. ... show more

This is seems excellent so far. It was easy to install, and the light and fan output is perfect. The remote control is basic, but works just fine, and the app is a nice touch.

    • Quiet! No need to install a fan control wall switch.
I love that it installed easily, and not having to wire up a fan wall switch. Also don't forget to slide the ceiling trim ring on before connecting the wires. The remote has good range and makes lighting and fan speed adjustments easy.
