Arrived quickly. Outer box in great shape. Each package still vacuum sealed. First spool printed very nice. No stringing and no fuzz like some filaments leave. No issues with sticking to the bed or between layers. Color is true black and no problems with the extruded feeding it so size is great. The media could not be loaded. The SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 has been performing exceptionally well across multiple functional prints. Dimensional accuracy is strong, layer bonding is uniform, and surface finish remains smooth even on taller parts. I’m currently using it to build a riser kit and tilt kit for my AMS 2 Pro, and the parts are holding tolerances that align perfectly with my hardware. From a printability standpoint, the filament runs clean with minimal stringing at ~205–215°C and 60°C bed on a 0.4 nozzle. Flow behavior is stable, and extrusion remains consistent over long print jobs without visible under-extrusion artifacts. Supports remove predictably without tearing surface layers, and bridging holds shape without sagging once tuned. Mechanically, this PLA+ strikes a good balance between stiffness and toughness for functional assemblies. Threads cut cleanly, press-fit joints hold, and fasteners seat without cracking. Warping has been negligible, which is important for alignment-critical builds like risers and tilt mounts. Moisture sensitivity seems lower than typical PLA variants; after sitting a few days out of the bag, it still printed cleanly, but storing it dry is still recommended for best results. Color uniformity across prints has also been consistent, which matters when parts are visible. If you need a filament strong enough for functional work without jumping to ABS, ASA, or engineering blends, this PLA+ is a reliable choice. For hobbyists and makers who build multi-part mechanical projects, it delivers performance that outpaces its price bracket.

I’ve been really impressed with SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 filament. It prints just as easily as regular PLA, but the finished parts feel noticeably stronger and less brittle. My prints come out with a clean surface and consistent layers, and I’ve had very few issues with clogging or tangling thanks to the neatly wound spool. Another thing I like is how forgiving it is with settings. It works well around typical PLA temperatures (about 195–220 °C) and sticks nicely to the bed without much warping, so it’s great for both beginners and experienced makers. The dimensional accuracy is solid (around ±0.02 mm), which helps parts fit together properly. It also handles faster printing speeds surprisingly well while still keeping good detail, which saves time on larger projects. Overall, if you want a filament that’s easy to print with but stronger than standard PLA, SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 is a reliable choice for everything from functional parts to display models. Definitely one I’ll keep using.

I’ve been printing with SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 for several rolls now and this batch has been very consistent. Diameter tolerance looks good and the filament feeds smoothly without binding. Layer adhesion is strong and prints come out tougher than standard PLA. Surface finish is clean, especially on functional parts. For a 2KG pack, this is excellent value and I’d buy it again.

Awesome filament! New to printing and was using flashforge filament, I wont go back. While mid print my flashforge hspla black filament ran out and my printer picked right back up with SUNLU pla+2.0 black WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE! My print walls were perfectly smooth corners were perfectly rounded and the finish, color, and overall visual of the walls and print were a night and day difference! This is a far superior filament and for half the price!

Using in my X1C and was able to load the filament profile no problem. Prints great and for the price, why not get this over the standard PLA. Holds up for what I need to print, know what type of filament you need for the project! Works great in the AMS. Now using in the Eibos X Tetras.

I've been running this filament for a few weeks now and it's pretty good stuff. Using a k1 max I'm doing big projects which require more than a standard roll and these bigger rolls are great. I especially love the white it seems to print super well. The red printed good too but the color seemed to change as I went through the roll and you could see banding in the print. The prints are very strong and I'm printing my outer walls at 200mm/s with great results. I only had one roll bind up while it was printing but that's one mess up in weeks of printing.

I am impressed with the quality of both the filament and spool. I have used their matte pla, pla 2.0 petg, and just received some petg cf. Pla 2.0 feels much stronger similar to petg with out the excessive shine. I would still call it a matte finish albiet there is slightly more sheen than their matte pla. Which should be expected. Compared with creality, and eegloo pla the finish is flatter smoother and overall feels much stronger. I had no issue using to print some shelves for my honeycomb wall, that need to support items other brands failed to bare. Along with a desk drawer module that turned out beautifully. Adhesion was great no issues with tangles and great print speed. I will be using sunlu for all my filament needs for the foreseeable future.
