  • Fantastic Quality PETG for Functional Prints! 💯
Color: 1kg Red Size: 1KG
I use PETG constantly for making all sorts of functional parts, and this SUNLU filament is consistently top-tier. I bought the red, and the color is incredibly vivid and rich. The print quality was great—I had solid performance across a good temperature range, excellent layer adhesion, and, critically, no nozzle clogging whatsoever. My functional parts came out strong and durable. I'm a heavy user and buy tons of this brand. Zero complaints. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Really great filament
Color: 1000g Black Size: 1KG
This is the best PETG I've used. It was an accidental purchase (meant to get PLA), but it's the smoothest printing PETG I've used. Doesn't clog. Doesn't tangle around the filament holder. And the final print is solid and durable. The price is reasonable, too. I have no complaints.

  • Two spools used and impressed by the quality. Two other "name brand" filaments don't even compare.
Color: 2kg Black+black Size: 2KG
Excellent filament. Used up both spools and never had one failed print, which is insane for my printer. I always get at least 1 failed print per spool with PLA and the quality is OK. This filament prints flawlessly and I was finally able to get my first perfect benchy. I am printing on a Longer LK5 running Klipper with a bi-metal hot-end, direct-drive conversion, and the HMG7 setup. The default print settings for the Sunlu PETG in Orca work perfect with this filament, but my hot-end sensor is slightly off so I am running it at 245c and 80 on the bed. Slowing the retraction speed to 25mm/s almost completely eliminates all stringing. Edit: Second order made and arrived in different shrink wrap. Instead of the clear wrapper this is using a shinny aluminum looking wrapping. It seams to seal better. I printed right out of the packaging and prints perfectly. ... show more

  • Good filament but lacking pigment
Color: 4kg White+white+white+white Size: 4KG
This filament performs very well, but the white is not as white as other brands. I have a printer that automatically starts a new spool when one runs out. The other brand was brilliant white and the Sunlu looks gray next to it. The lighting wasn’t great for the photo.

  • Consistent PETG After Drying — Detailed Bambu Settings Included
Color: 4kg Black+black+black+black Size: 4KG
I went through a lot of frustration with Elegoo PETG. Even after drying, it stayed inconsistent — popping, stringing, zits, and random surface defects, especially on long prints and tall parts. Gridfinity boxes were the worst: blobs and surface artifacts no matter how much tuning I did. After switching to Sunlu PETG, everything finally stabilized. I dried it 12 hours at 65 °C, loaded it, and the difference was obvious. Once dry, Sunlu PETG stays consistent for long prints with no popping, no zits, and no mid-print flow changes. I’m running a Bambu Lab H2D, and this filament works great on both: 0.4 standard nozzle 0.6 high-flow nozzle Big parts, long runtimes, and functional prints finish clean without babysitting. ✅ Exact Settings That Worked for Me (Bambu Studio) If PETG has been giving you grief, these settings completely solved it for me. 🔥 Temperatures Nozzle: 250 °C Bed: 50 °C 📏 Line Widths 0.4 Standard Nozzle Default: 0.42 mm Outer wall: 0.42 mm Inner wall: 0.45 mm Sparse infill: 0.45 mm Internal solid infill: 0.42 mm 0.6 High-Flow Nozzle Default: 0.72 mm Outer wall: 0.60 mm Inner wall: 0.72 mm Sparse infill: 0.78 mm Internal solid infill: 0.72 mm 🌬️ Cooling First 3 layers: Fan 0% Min fan: 20% @ 25 s layer time Max fan: 30% @ 8 s layer time Keep fan always on: ✅ Slow down for better layer cooling: ✅ Force cooling for overhangs/bridges: ❌ Aux fan: 0% These settings eliminated zits and surface artifacts entirely. ⚙️ Volumetric Flow (Important) 0.4 nozzle: ~24 mm³/s 0.6 HF nozzle: ~30–33 mm³/s High-flow nozzles cut several hours off large prints without sacrificing quality. 🧲 Adhesion (What Stopped Tall Prints From Lifting) This was huge for long Gridfinity prints: I used small “rabbit ears” / corner brims only (not a full brim) Just enough to lock down the corners and prevent lift Easy to remove and doesn’t trash the bottom surface 🧱 Other Settings That Helped Wall order: Outer → Inner Avoid crossing walls: ON 🧠 Final Thoughts Elegoo PETG gave me constant moisture-related and consistency issues, even after drying and tuning. Once properly dried, Sunlu PETG prints clean, stable, and predictably, even on long prints and large parts. It’s the first PETG I’ve used where the tuning actually stays dialed in. I’ve already stocked up on multiple spools and will keep using it. ... show more

  • main product description should include the word "matte"
Color: 4kg Black+black+black+black Size: 4KG
I ended up buying this after trusting a bit too much that Amazon's search function would surface the correct products for me. I simply wanted a large volume of inexpensive PETG in black. The full product listing does say that this is matte PETG, but the main description doesn't mention that this isn't "regular" PETG. Why? Because it doesn't print as well as regular PETG. After printing this, I don't know if I'd describe the finish as matte, but it's definitely less shiny than regular PETG. In terms of print quality, this doesn't stick to my textured PEI bed as well as normal PETG and has noticeably more stringing than regular PETG. The stringing leads to a rough surface. I was printing parts that slide into another part and the interior surface defects on the outer part prevented the print from being fit for purpose. So, I'm stuck with ~4KG of this stuff and it's not general purpose. It prints OK if you are printing a single part that has only a single exterior surface at every layer - because retraction and travel without extrusion is minimal or non-existent in such prints. I guess I'll slowly use this up with prints that meet those criteria. I did not experience layer adhesion issues that others have mentioned. I printed on a Qidi X-Max 3 with default OrcaSlicer settings for generic PETG. The listing provides 3 recommended settings depending on what nozzle temp you choose. The settings I used seem to align to their 2nd option. So, I don't think this was a settings issue on my end. ... show more

  • Good deal
Great deal and great product. I like the color options and the print quality is just as good as you can hope for. I've had no issues with the 5 spools I've used so far.
