I’ve used several rolls of SUNLU PLA+, and it has been one of the most reliable filaments I’ve tried. It prints smoothly, sticks well to the build plate, and produces clean results with good detail. Sunlu filament is one of my favorites to use on my Bambu X1C. The print quality with the built-in Sunlu profile is top-notch. Bed adhesion on both PEI, Cold Plate, and BiQu Cryo plates is flawless. I did not experience any clogging, stringing, or other issues. I always dry the filament before use, given the high humidity in my location, to avoid issues, but it is probably not necessary, as Sunlu filament is well packed with a desiccant. On some other brands, vacuum packing is lost during shipment. Sunlu has been consistently great, with every pack vacuum sealed and holding a vacuum on delivery. It loaded and ran easily in my AMS 2 Pro unit.

Excellent product. Very consistent diameter and composition. Nozzle and bed temperatures can be kept consistent, but be forewarned that if you allow the filament to sit out for a long time, it will absorb moisture. This moisture manifests as microbubbles during the heating/printing process, resulting in rough prints. This is not a condemnation of the SUNLU PLA Plus, as moisture absorption is a problem for all filaments. I use the PLA Plus for those parts that require greater strength and durability. Works exceptionally well for me.

This SUNLU PLA Plus in black has been a solid workhouse filament for my 3D printing projects. PLA+ delivers noticeably better impact resistance and flexibility compared to standard PLA, which matters for functional parts and anything that needs to hold up to some stress. The prints have good layer adhesion and the surfaces come out smooth without requiring excessive fine-tuning of settings. The neatly wound spool claim checks out. I have not had a single tangle across the whole 1KG and the filament feeds consistently from start to finish. The black color is a deep, clean matte that looks professional on finished prints. Where I am leaving four stars rather than five is that I had a minor inconsistency in diameter at a few points which caused a brief under-extrusion that I had to account for. It was a small issue that most experienced printers would handle easily by pausing and letting it catch up, but worth noting. For the price versus performance ratio, this is still a strong value and I have had far worse issues with other brands at similar prices. A reliable everyday PLA+ that I would recommend.

Prints amazingly. No stringing, great adhesion, very smooth. Feeds nicely. They lose one star for multiple tangles in the spooling. If I hadn't been there to untangle it might have caused some serious issues with my machine. I'm expecting more tangles down the line. Wouldn't recommend leaving printing unattended.
