  • great sampler pack
Color: 8*0.25kg
I'm just getting started and really only plan to use color highlights for the black, white, or gray items I'm printing for astronomy. This pack is a great way to add color highlights and to play with color pieces in general without breaking the bank! The two spools I've tried have printed flawlessly. These spools are small and the 42mm central hole may not fit your spindle, which was the case with my Bambu Labs A1 AMS lite feeder. (It will fit on the side spool holder and you can print adapters as well.) Other than that, these are great additions to my spool library. ... show more

  • Prints easy, but pretty transparent
This filament has excellent physical properties; Low stringing, no warping (so far), odor is not bad, strong layer bonding and can be printed fairly fast on my printer. The colors do look like the pictures, however the bright color filaments are unexpectedly transparent. That makes these great candidates for lithopanes, but awful for multi-material printing. The dark filaments are as opaque as one expects, though. Oddly the white filament is a little more opaque than the colors. All of the filaments print very glossy. If you print on a glass bed, you can almost see your reflection. ... show more

  • Good, but has some of quality issues,
Color: 8*0.25kg
I love it for the fact you get a decent amount of filament with each being a different color for the price point, but it has some issues with stringing which lowers the print quality, I’ve been able to get a decent consistency within my prints but there are sometimes cases where the filament strings and it fails to adhere. ... show more

  • Good Final Quality, Terrible Quality Control
Color: 8*0.25kg
You will read "Frequently returned item" and then when your filament jams up (because the people who package this don't know how to properly spool anything from what I have observed) you will be required to pull with the force of God to remove this low quality filament from your extruder feeder. I printed (or attempted rather) three prints with just the white filament and it jammed twice. I had to completely abandon two of the prints and the time wasted because my extruder was 2 inches above the last print layer because it jammed that severely. The last time this crap jammed in my printer, somehow, someway in the attempt to remove this god awful plastic, I homed by stage, and because of some other error it put pin tip sized hole through my baseplate. So this filament sucks, do not buy it. I literally have spent thousands of dollars on Amazon in the past months, and this is the first review I have written on anything in years. This is how much I hate this companies quality control. I originally was going to give this a two star review because one of my prints succeeded, however in the midst of typing this I have realized I would give this 0.5 out of 5 if possible. 1 star only because that is the literal minimum. ... show more

  • Good enough, but not perfect.
Color: 1000g Black
It prints easily and has strength when it’s finished. My only complaint with it is that there are a lot of small imperfections maybe due to moisture or air bubbles in the filament. I’ve now tested at both a 0.4mm and 0.8mm nozzle. Both result in a rice crispy crackling sound during printing. That also results in tiny imperfections and I can’t get a visually smooth surface from it. My purpose with this was to make a functional part with strength and heat resistant. It does that and held its strength inside a hot car sitting in 90 degrees all day. I wouldn’t recommend this if you need a perfectly smooth clean print. See the close-up photo I attached to see what I’m talking about. It’s minor on a 0.4 nozzle printing very slowly but, it was much more noticeable on a 0.8 nozzle printing a pretty normal speed. ... show more

  • These work great on my Ender 3 V2 Neo
This is the second set of SunLu filaments I've used and have had very good luck with them. I have both PETG and PLA with no issues so far. That being said, my printer and filament are kept between 68 and 70 degrees fahrenheit in the room I have them in. So this may be a big contributing factor for getting good consistent print results with no moisture or filament issues. I've found that on this printer running the nozzle temp at 225C and the bed at 60C gives me great results, even switching between PLA and PETG. I've had zero tangling issues or feed problems. When I change filaments, I change them when the nozzle is fully heated for at least a minute, then I release the feed wheel and pull the filament back to clear nozzle and tube. I then immediately put in the new filament and push it through by hand until that color is coming out of the nozzle. Next, I cut the filament I just removed, back to just prior to the feed wheel. I've found that what is beyond the feed wheel in the tube has been imprinted on by it and is out of round, making it difficult to use that first foot a second time, so I cut it back and have had no feed issues that way. ... show more
