Need extra people and tall step ladder to assemble.
Color: Dark Brown + Natural Wood
Size: 12 x 16 ft.
Style: Framed Gazebo
Me and my two sons assembled this in two days. May have been able to finish in one if we started very early. If I was going to do this again, I would have unpacked the wood pieces a few days before and put a clear protectant on them before assembly. The roof panels are a tight fit, so we needed to le
ave the roof frame screws loose and go back and tighten them after assembly. Very impressing looking when done. Have two 6" or 8" step ladders ready to complete assembly.

Good product - Looks great
Color: Black + Natural Wood
Size: 11 x 13 ft.
Style: Framed Gazebo
This arrived on time and in good condition. The delivery company didn't reach out to confirm I'd be there first, but since I work from home that was not an issue. The guy unloading would NOT move the boxes anywhere but the driveway (which I understand) so I had to wait for my husband to get home befo
re getting them out of the front yard. 2 Boxes contained all the pieces. It took my husband and I two days with lots of breaks to get it together. It is very nice looking and we are putting a sealant on the wood parts to help its longevity. It's already been tested with some pretty strong wind gusts 40+ MPH and it was fine. If I could go back, I would buy the model that is all metal. This wood is very pretty, but felt soft and light and was scratched easily when we were putting it together. No cosmetic damage is noticeable, but I think I'd still lean that way given that softness and the extra work of sealing it (which I didn't think about ahead of time). Overall this is a very nice gazebo that looks GREAT in our yard. Our outdoor space feels luxurious!

This gazebo is exactly what we wanted and needed. It's sturdy and attractive. The instructions were clear to follow, but it definitely takes longer than the recommended 8-10 hours. We spent closer to 14 hours with two people assembling. This is not a solo job. The roof is black metal which can get re
ally hot in the direct sun. If you're assembling it in summer, use gloves to protect your hands.

This is a major project to do your self. I eventually had four other people besides myself to construct this. It comes on a long narrow pallet and weighs over 650 pounds. The truck driver rolled the pallet on a jack to behind the security fence--thank God! We started by assembling the wooden posts an
d upper frame (also wood). I let go of my post to help someone else and the thing fell down. It broke 4 boards. I called Amazon to get replacements but all they could offer was to return it and give a refund, since there were no more in stock. I decided to mill the replacement boards myself. I bought 3 clear cedar 1"X6"X8' boards at Home Depot at an additional cost of $78. I brought them home and sawed the joints and new mounting holes. So, we were behind one day. (Note: China must have true 1" lumber, which we do not, so I had to adjust the joints to fit smoothly.) The rest of the build went without issue. We worked about 4 hours a day (since were all over retirement age). We completed the project in four days. Lots of screws and bolts!!! I would advise using power tools. After it was finished we had winds in our area 30-40 mph with gusts around 50 mph. We watched it very carefully, since we did not yet have it anchored to the patio. It survived well. However, the wind did raise the metal panels at the joints just slightly. And I would recommend using screws at the top of the first section of metal panels. They give you plastic plugs to join the panels together, but they are not strong enough for wind prone areas. Our patio is big (25' deep by over 50' wide), and it slopes to allow for rain runoff. You may notice that some of the holes do not line up perfectly because of the slope. We got them all in, but it took a little finesse. You also may notice that the posts have a slight lean because of that slope as well. Overall, it is a wonderful gazebo and should last several generations.

4/1/23 in Kentucky, we are currently under a high wind warning, with gusts up to 70mph. This is the 2nd of two winds storms we have had within a month. While neighbors are losing roofs, trees, fences, trampolines, patio furniture, our two gazebos are standing strong!! The design of the roof is pure g
enius. It goes on in pieces, one piece overlapping the other. This allows the wind to travel through the roof, instead of ripping it off.

Nice product, but don’t believe their shipping estimate.
Color: Black + Natural Wood
Size: 11 x 13 ft.
Style: Framed Gazebo
I ordered this gazebo from Amazon based on delivery time. Amazon gives a range for when it will be delivered. What they don’t tell you is that someone from FedEx will call you on the last day of that delivery window and try to schedule a delivery for a few days later. I wanted to have this item at my
house for a party but unfortunately I got the call on the last day and they couldn’t deliver for 4 days. Had I known this, I could have bought the one from the big box store (I did research and it seems that sun joy makes the Hampton bay model that is identical) and had it delivered on time. As far as the pergola, it’s nice. The posts are not solid cedar, they seem to be some kind of wood faced with cedar. As others have stated, make sure you have everything square or the roof will not line up appropriately. I had a few screws that I couldn’t install because the part that the screw goes into wasn’t welded securely and it just spins. Hopefully this will not affect the pergola down the road. FYI, the instructions have very little words, mostly just pictures. Pay attention to those pictures so you do not overlap the roof the wrong way. I contacted their customer service about the shipping issue and they were less than helpful in resolving my problem. In fact they claimed that the listing says how its shipped via FedEx and that they will contact to set up time, but this is not true. I really wish they would have been more helpful/

Overall I’m happy with the purchase. Arrived when expected, Looks like the picture, and quality is ok for the price. Three things of note: - Pay special attention to the legs. They can easily be installed in a way that the cross supports don’t line up with the holes. Read ahead in the instructions to
see how the cross supports are bolted on before assembling the legs. Worst case, you can just re-drill the support holes since they are installed with simple lag bolts. - the corners of the bottoms roof (might be called the drip edge?) have a terrible design on the ends where a “T” is supposed to slide in a slot and hold. Getting that fit was a pain. I wish it was just held on by bolts like the rest of it. - The metal roof was by far the hardest piece to assemble. Not time consuming, just a pain. I ended up having to trim a bit off the corner pieces to make it fit since it has to lay flat or it will buckle in the middle due to the very few fasteners used. Not sure how I could have done better here as all the pieces prior were installed square and level. Strange. Took two people about 7 hours straight to setup.

This wasn’t what I would call difficult to assemble but it definitely takes time. All told I spent somewhere between 10-12 hours assembling this gazebo. I did have help for about 4 hours of that time which was absolutely necessary for a few parts of the assembly. Once you get the frame together it is
very sturdy. Every part you add just adds to the rigidity of the structure. My only complaint is that the roof isn’t fully sealed. We had rain a couple days after assembly was complete and I found puddles where some of the seams must leak. It isn’t a huge issue as I’m just going to pull the ridge caps off and seal those areas with some silicone. The other area of concern is that the middle roof pieces are not secured at the top. There are holes for screws in the sheeting but nothing in the frame. I’m considering getting some metal roofing screws and adding them. I’m afraid that when we get strong winds those pieces may lift and possibly bend. Overall it is a good product and I would recommend it if you need a sturdy gazebo.

I did a lot of searching online, reading reviews and watching videos. Finally decided on this one and it was the right choice. It really is the best value for the money. I found some less expensive but they looked cheap. I also found some more expensive which may have been even better, but why pay mo
re if you don't need to. Got these on Memorial Day sale via Amazon. Assembly was relatively easy. There are a lot of nuts, bolts, screws and pieces. I assembled this myself which took me about 16 working hours. If you have more help, it should go much quicker. Provided directions are pretty good but watch some videos to get a better idea. Very sturdy and looks fantastic. I've received many compliments on them. I ended up buying 2 of these.

Make sure your pergola is square and level
Color: Black + Natural Wood

This is a very good product. The diagrams were easy to follow with all the pieces fitting together perfectly. I was able to do a lot of the construction solo needing help with posts being stood up and beams attached as well as the roof. Also my brother in law did a beautiful job squaring the whole th
ing before we started the roof. I absolutely know the roof would not have gone on as easily if it had not been squared so good within 1/8 of an inch corners to corners. Also when you get to the roof, panel 16 is not screwed into the frame on either side or top so you must make sure that you overlap both sides with panel 15 and 17 otherwise the wind is going to catch it. You’ll see what I’m talking about. The instructions does not say anything about that. I didn’t have a concrete slab or porch to screw the base of the Pergola into so I stood it into the galvanized metal tubs (pictures included) and filled it with 200 pounds of concrete. I think that will do the job. Before even constructing the entire Pergola I made sure that the pavers under tubs was completely level.

It’s very nice……took me and a buddy about 12 hours from start to finish. A lot of screaming in anger. The directions could be a lot better. There isn’t any captions or instructions just pictures of what to do. The roof is especially a pain because everything has to be exact to fit. Otherwise the hole
s don’t match up. DO NOT tighten anything down completely until the end. Also if you over tighten the wood it will crack. Although it wasn’t easy at all to construct because of the directions it is very nice and very sturdy.

We contacted Customer Service because a few small pieces were missing at the very end of installation. They were a pleasure to work with and the missing parts arrived in less th

I have to admit that I was a little skeptical about a prefab product like this. As it turns out, my hesitation was unwarranted. The product arrived on the date that it was supposed to arrive, it was well packaged, and the shippers placed it where I needed it placed. It took two guys most of a day to
put it together, but the instructions were fairly easy to follow, and everything fit together as it was supposed to. There were no missing or broken pieces, so I did not need to deal with their customer service department. The finished product is absolutely stunning, and exceeded all of my expectations. The wood is all high quality, arrow straight, and nicely finished. The metal parts are solid, sturdy, and very nicely finished. I truly love this gazebo, and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their back yard.
