I'm currently running this sub with an X18 V2 D2. It added the punch back that the X doesn't cover. These 2 series compliment each other well. I'm using Hifonics Brutus 3000 watt amps with each sub having its own amp. The coils are wired parallel for 1 ohm . Be careful with these subs as they love more and more power. They can handle much higher than rated rms power with ease without audible distortion. This is good and bad at the same time as you can cook the voice coils without knowing it's at that point . Unsound performance and quality not another speaker comes close. This is my second set, and my last! Nothing about this speaker is bad. Get what I pay for.

The media could not be loaded. You won’t beat it for the price, they have 33 mm of excursion and get loud af. The are heavy though like 50lbs each

My daughter bought me one of these for Christmas. It sounds good except sometimes on low bass it makes a scratch noise every once and a while and has from day one. She bought it thru Amazon and it shipped from woofers.com. so I called woofers.com and said it would like a exchange or possibly pay the difference to go to the next step up. They told me to fill out warranty stuff online with sundown audio since they are a authorized dealer. So I did. I still have not been able to get back ahold of them and they said they would email of call me back and it should only taking a business day or 2 and the happened a couple days after Xmas. 415 dollars is to much to throw away.
