Bought a whole bunch of these to replace the Philips LED bulbs I had previously installed. Of the 18 Philips bulbs I bought, more than half of them had simply failed entirely within 6 months to 1 year. They were also the wrong size for my fixtures. This didn't bother me, but I digress. In any case, I decided to replace the bulbs in all of my fixtures with these lights instead, as I no longer had an adequate number of Philips bulbs to put in all of them, and I wanted consistent lighting. And the correct size! They are also significantly brighter than the old bulbs I was using before. So far all of them have worked out of the box. If I encounter issues with them in the coming months, I will update this review. If there are issues, it very well could be the wiring of my fixtures. I have documented the failures in each fixture very carefully. If I get the same failures again, in approximately the same amount of time, in the same fixtures? Then I will not knock these lights whatsoever, that's most likely an issue with my wiring. As a closing note, I get the feeling many people (myself included) may be experiencing issues with "dimmable" LED bulbs because of our particular dim switches. Not all of them are created equal and there's a few different ways for dim switches to operate. LED bulbs require a specific kind of dim switch. I believe the ones for my particular fixtures are what LED bulbs need, but again, if I have issues with these bulbs as well, I will investigate the possibility of an incompatible dim mechanism. First of all, the bulbs are exactly as described. They came in a 6-pack which was great since I needed 5; this gives me a just-in-case spare. The color temp (3000K) is what was expected. These bulbs are also very bright (1100 Lumens) when at full power. They work great with our Lutron dimmers and don’t produce enough RFI when dimming to interfere with our tv antenna signal, which the old bulbs did. I recently purchased the Sunco 10 Pack BR40 LED Light Bulbs to replace the traditional incandescent bulbs in my home. Overall, I'm pleased with their performance. They are incredibly bright and do a great job illuminating large spaces, which is exactly what I was looking for in my kitchen and living room :D. The energy efficiency is noticeable—I saw a decrease in my electricity bill, which makes these bulbs a cost-effective choice in the long run. They were also easy to install and fit perfectly into the existing fixtures. However, I've had some issues with the dimming feature. While the product description states that these bulbs are dimmable, I found that they don't dim as smoothly as my previous incandescent bulbs. There is a slight flicker and they don’t dim to as low a light level as I would like. Despite this, I would recommend these LED bulbs for anyone looking to upgrade their home lighting, as the benefits of energy efficiency and brightness outweigh the minor dimming issue. I am genuinely impressed and would highly recommend anything that this company sales. My personal experience has been absolutely amazing. Anyone can sell anything, however, what happens when you need service after the sale. Most sellers, scram and ignore or deflect in order to avoid having to deal with their most valuable people, their customers. Sunco does NOT do that. I have requested bulb replacements and they have not given me any trouble whatsoever, instead they apologized for the inconvenience and have communicated with me almost immediately and have replaced my bulbs without hassling me and asking me 100 questions. They even have gone above and beyond by including extra bulbs for making up for the inconvenience. I put these bulbs throughout my house in all of the recessed lights. They are nice and bright and can be dimmed which is awesome. I did have one in the kitchen go out already which is a bummer. It didn't go out like regular bulbs do but is was about 50% as bright as all of the others. I bought these so I could replace that one bulb. I did notice this new set has a slightly warmer color than the ones I initially purchased which is nicer. I wish I had these throughout the house. ... show more
