I'm in my late 70s and in a wheelchair. My husband is tall, about the same age, and has back issues but is mobile. For me, in a wheelchair, this is so much fun to use. I can scoot around blowing leaves and debris off our patio and driveway with such ease. Our patio has never been so clean...lol My husband also likes this blower/vac. The air blows with enough force that he doesn't have to bend over to use it. Several extensions from our old shop vac fit right over the end of the tapered nozzle to extend the length for him to get into harder to reach areas. Now, as a vacuum...this is where many might take off one or two stars. It's going to depend on what your reason for buying this is. For us, I wanted mainly a blower that was easy for me and my husband to use, taking into account that we're both elderly and I'm in a wheelchair. As a blower, this is 5 stars for us. As a vac, it's lacking in design. If you are cleaning off a wide-open space, such as the top of a work bench or table, this is fine but if you're trying to clean out your car, it's severely lacking in mobility. The design makes it very hard to get into hard-to-reach areas, if not impossible. When vacuuming, the blower nozzle attaches to the side of this machine over the intake and the collection bag attaches where the nozzle goes for blowing. So, to vacuum, you are holding the Sno Joe at a side angle with the intake nozzle sticking out from the side which makes it too cumbersome to maneuver in tight spaces. In other words, as a car vac, it's sorely lacking in maneuverability. The battery that comes with this is extremely serviceable. The battery life lasts long enough for me to do everything I need to do. The battery hasn't run out even once while in use. Usually, I use it for about half an hour at a time...maybe a little longer. We always keep the battery charged between uses. It only takes a few hours to recharge the battery. There is a button and three little lights on the machine. When you push the button, it tells you how much juice you have. If you plan on using this for extended periods of time, you can buy an extra battery and just switch them out or, if you have other Sno Joe machines that use the same battery, you can alternate. Overall, for us, this is exactly what we were looking for. My husband wasn't looking to use it as a car vac so the lack of maneuverability in that area doesn't matter to us. This is a great little blower and general use vac for open areas. If you have large yards and are looking for a heavy-duty blower to clear large areas, this isn't the machine for you. If, like us, you just have smaller areas such as a patio and a short driveway to keep clean, this is a great blower and a serviceable vac for cleaning off open areas such as a table or work bench. I purchased this product to blow up water tubes and toys on our boat. I used to take a power inverter, extra boat battery and a small shop vac in blower mode. It was a real hassle getting all of that on the boat, so I tried this little baby. Wow, it packs a punch, and should probably be sold as an inflatable tube blower. It holds a charge for I don't know how long, it never ran out. I love it so much, I'm taking it to Florida for the winter months! ... show more

The product took ages to arrive, the box was kind of beat up, the item looked like a return and the charger was missing. I tried to contact Sun Joe thru their chat to no avail, it doesn't work, then, I tried by email, never got a response at least at the time of this review. Since I bought it thru Amazon I returned it. Before doing so, I tested it with what charge it came with, I just tested the blower and not the suction since I already have a vacuum. It has power enough to clean my garage of dust and leaves, it has two speeds and you control ON/OFF with the trigger. I used for good 10 minutes and didn't notice any loss of power. I like the fact that it's wireless. It's light, the blower attachment it's easy to install and to take off. The battery it's easy to take off as well, you'll have to do it in order to charge it, the power port it's on the side where the vacuum and the battery meet. It's a pity the company it's not up to par. I might buy it again in the future, for now, I'm deciding if I really need it or if it is just an impulse to buy a blower. The product deserves four stars and the company only one or zero if it was possible. Don't buy thru Sun Joe, do it thru Amazon, you're more protected that way. ... show more

The original purpose of purchasing this Sun Joe blower was to use as an easier way to blow out debris from the floor area of my school bus at the end of each day. I personally purchased 2 of these blowers, 1 for myself to use on my bus and 1 for my wife to use on her own school bus. With that said I also have several coworkers who purchased this exact blower as well for the same purpose. The blower itself actually works quite well for this purpose, it has no issues with moving debris such as grass, leaves, loose dirt, trash, etc. easily. Plenty of power with the 2 speeds. A complete lifesaver at the end of a long day and route. My complaints are definitely not with the blower itself as it works great and gets the job done. The packaging is definitely the down side to this, as I said I ordered 2 of these blowers, one came in an original Sun Joe box poorly taped together and thank goodness all parts were inside. The other blower showed up in a torn not original box, poorly taped together and half smashed in on one side, parts were just thrown inside this box and were scattered and unorganized, the tethered blower crevice nozzle — 0.2", 0.5", 0.9" nozzles were not inside the box at all, so yes missing parts. This seems to be the norm as coworkers also got the same results with their purchases. So buyer beware, the blower itself works great for small debris, but the packaging is definitely shady. ... show more

Don’t buy this product if you are like me and you think it is a full-size leaf blower for your yard. This is a small version that is ideal for blowing up swimming pool tubes or floaty’s or something like that. This is not a full size blower, like it appears to be in the picture
