It was easy to assemble but it was not very efficient for spreading feed and seed on my lawn. I kept having to stop the lawn tractor to unclog the opening no mater what I set the opening on.

The only reason this has two stars is because it's fairly inexpensive compared to others and went together fairly easily as well. 1. Cotter Pins that attach the wheel to the axle are very weak and sheard off during the second use. 2. The handle that opens and closes the hopper is flimsy. It pops out of the setting you've chosen and needs clamps to hold in place. 3. It seems to be made for a conventional riding mower. If you have a zero radius turn mower like I have, you can't reach it from a sitting position. You have to get off the machine to adjust it and therefore wasting seed, or fertilizer, or whatever you're spreading. Simply not a good tool.

Awful! Dont buy Will take forever to put together... too many pieces and the direction are terrible!

It definitely takes a bit to put it together. The pins that hold the tires on were really cheap and broke right away. We replaced them with some heavier duty ones of our own. Also the agitator had no pin So, We had to put a cotter pin in it to rig it..

My yard is just under an acre and I needed a pull behind spreader like this. It has worked ok but. *No manual came with it so I had to guesstimate what setting to set it on. *I can’t reach the shut on/off handle from my seat on the mower. * very easy to handle and turns easy. Quality is fine. Small enough to store in garage.

I ordered this so that my husband could tell behind his riding mower when he’s spreading fertilizer and pesticide. He says attached easily and toes perfectly even up and down our hill. It seems to be built to last and with proper care I have no doubts that it will.
