    • High Quality Thermostat, Easy To Install
I decided to replace my old thermostat since I was already flushing my coolant. The install was super easy. Just two small bolts, pop off the housing, then the old thermostat, and replace it with the new one. Remember to keep the float (little metal dangly bit) facing straight up towards the sky. Then you put everything back together and you're done. I do like that this thermostat is designed to open up at a lower temperature than the stock one that came with my 2009 Outback 2.5i as well. Great price and is the OE product. I always buy OEM thermostats, due to the fact aftermarket ones. Just aren’t built properly. As a mechanic for 15 years you only buy these things from the OEM. Great price.

It is too big when compared to the oem on the Subaru Forester 2011. Amazon said it fits my vehicle. Make sure and check sizes before purchasing.
