  • Good fit at a fair price n quick delivery!
Fit my 05 legacy GT wagon with no problems. There was one hose on it that was 3/8 nipple where a 1/2 inch hose should connects to. But in the box there is a little bag of adapters and a clamp one of them fit that hose connection perfectly.

  • ALMOST the same as OEM unit
This review is for CSF part number 3515 and was going into a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT with the 5-speed automatic. The OEM unit started leaking after 116,xxx miles and ~15years. Decided to go with a CSF unit since the brand is supposed to be a higher quality unit. Has fittings, hose inlets/outlets and fan shroud mounting in all the right locations. The only thing they got wrong was the hose fitting farthest on the passenger side with is supposed to connect to the Coolant Reservoir Tank (Subaru part number 21132AA121). The fitting on the CSF radiator is 3/8"OD while the OEM coolant hose is meant to fit over a 1/2"OD fitting so I had to buy a 1/2" to 3/8" barbed reducing fitting and a bit of 3/8" hose to connect it all. I have not yet installed the radiator or pressure test it yet so will update once I have done so. Update: it's been ~3 months since install and car has been running great even with the smaller reservoir input line. 3-stars seems appropriate still given hassle during the install. ... show more

  • Shredded nipples are painful.
I bought this for my 2005 Subaru Legacy. It fit, and the install wasn't too bad. The main issue is that it had an extra inlet and came with a nipple to cap it. The problem is, the nipple is cheap cheap rubber. After a day of driving, the nipple is torn. Now instead of being at work, I'm at a parking lot waiting for AutoZone to open. ... show more
