Was tired of the flimsy tarp-material covers that would barely last a season. I even made a box to cover the unit with 1/2 inch insulation and put the cover around it. My unit is 26.5W x 17.5H x 15.5D. With the 1/2 inch insulation, it took a little effort to put on cover since cover was 27” wide range but it fits very snug. So snug, didn’t have to use the straps (but did anyways). Since the unit was only 15.5 deep, I folded over the excess. I put the cover on the insulation box before install. Had to gently tap each corner of the box several times to get it on. With the cover 27” wide and the foam board insulation a half inch on each side, I was worried it would not fit but the cover flexed just enough. Measurements are correct. A couple hours of work and now it will take me 5 minutes each season to put on. Wish I did a long time ago. I also put on an inside cover from another manufacturer. I taped a piece of plastic over the inside first. Had a 15-degree night. Did not feel any coldness like before. Pay the few xtra dollars and save in the long run with this quality. Update: cover still going strong. 3rd season Update #2: Still using cover in 5th season.

Update 2023: This cover has survived through 2 PA winters and is ready for it's 3rd. It is just as sturdy and thick today as the day I bought it. It has faded to a grey color, due to sun exposure, but that doesn't matter to me. I'm sure this cover will last a very long time with proper storage. Thick, insulated, sturdy. The straps are adjustable so you can snug it tight against your AC unit. My AC unit was between sizes so I purchased the larger size and folded it down to fit, which doesn't appear to have any negative effects. It's been on my wall unit for about a month and has sustained rain and wind so far. This cover is far superior to the cheap metallic/shiny covers you find at Wal-Mart or Lowes. I have yet to hear any air hissing through and into my house, which is a substantial improvement over lesser quality covers. We'll see how it holds up once winter formally arrives and we're at temps around zero degrees with snow/ice. So far, I feel confident this will sustain just fine.

This is my first Buffalo Winter that I used this, so time will tell how it last through our winters. Luckily, this was a pretty mild winter with a few storms. I gave it 4-stars because the matierial seems to be durable. HOPEFULLY, making it long lasting. This cover doesn't fit perfectly. It has extra material at the end, so that just hangs off. I might fold it up and duct tape it to the cover to tighten it up a little next year. I actually put it over a styrofoam cover I had originally made for it and used for so many years. It has 2 straps that holds the cover in place. I think having it over the Styrofoam actually helps it stay in place. It was super easy to install over my old cover. I'm sure between the two covers, it is protecting my home very well.

This cover fit our window A/C unit very well. Since our large A/C has a metal supporting bracket underneath it, I had to cut two slits in the bottom of the cover, but that was easy to do and with the included straps I was still able to securely fasten the cover in place. It looks very good and helps to both protect the unit and block some of the cold air that was coming into the house through the vents. The cover itself is made of sturdy material and my only regret is that I didn't purchase this cover a decade ago! I highly recommend it!

Just like the name implies, the AC cover is made of sturdy material and the stitching is strong. It fit quite nicely and was quick to install. I have every reason to believe it will far outlast the one I had before and does a much better job of covering the entire unit. Since it covers all 5 exposed sides , it can hold out wind much better than some other designs. The cover I replaced was vinyl and did not weather weather well. This cover is worth the price and I am well pleased.

Very pleased with these covers. We struggled to find one that would work on A/C units in the wall that had bottom brackets to the house siding, which required the bottom to be open. While these didn't have that, we were able to adapt these to fit snugly. The straps work great as well. I wanted to make sure they made it through a winter or two before posting a review and they met the requirements!

Purchased this product to cover our large window AC in prep for the winter time. (Did not want to hassle with removing it from the window cause its really heavy) Wanted to cover the AC to protect it from becoming more dirty in the winter and to prevent it from becoming filled with unnecessary water/moisture AND to keep the cold out. I had to order a larger size because the smaller one would not of fit. We had to tuck in the larger size, and use the zip straps (provided) to secure the cover. In attempt to tighten the straps, the cheap plastic clip broke, so I landed up tying the nylon strap into a knot. I suppose it will hold for the winter, if not- I'll purchase some cheap bungee cords to keep it secured. Overall, I think the cover is appropriate for the price. I think it will keep the cold out and help protect the overall unit. It will do what I need it to do!

Fast shipping and this is great to cover the AC in winter time. Fits perfect and has straps to tighten. I also use other bungee cords to make it tighter. Protects in all weather for rain and snow. Material hasn't torn or anything.
