Update 2023: This cover has survived through 2 PA winters and is ready for it's 3rd. It is just as sturdy and thick today as the day I bought it. It has faded to a grey color, due to sun exposure, but that doesn't matter to me. I'm sure this cover will last a very long time with proper storage. Thick, insulated, sturdy. The straps are adjustable so you can snug it tight against your AC unit. My AC unit was between sizes so I purchased the larger size and folded it down to fit, which doesn't appear to have any negative effects. It's been on my wall unit for about a month and has sustained rain and wind so far. This cover is far superior to the cheap metallic/shiny covers you find at Wal-Mart or Lowes. I have yet to hear any air hissing through and into my house, which is a substantial improvement over lesser quality covers. We'll see how it holds up once winter formally arrives and we're at temps around zero degrees with snow/ice. So far, I feel confident this will sustain just fine.

Cover made it through 4 PA winters sitting in direct sunlight all day, purchased October 2019. At under $30 I consider that a huge value and definitely heavy duty. I just ordered a new on today to replace it due to it starting to crack.

I purchased this after getting tired of fitting a 10' x 12' tarp over our through-the-wall AC unit for the past several years. This was so easy to install and fit perfectly around our AC unit. I wished that I purchased something like this years ago! The cover feels well made and when I inspected it before putting it on the AC unit it appeared to be in good shape with no visible light through the panels or at the seams. The cover slipped effortlessly over the exterior of the unit but was a few inches too long. Following the supplied directions, I rolled the excess material under the cover and snugged it up against the exterior wall. Previously I held the tarp on with a few bungee cords and I have to say that the straps supplied with the cover went on easy and cinched down nice and tight around the cover. I tied up the tails and feel confident that the cover will hold tight through the nastiest of winter storms. The snug fit and tight straps should keep the material from flapping in the wind and wearing out. I gave it four stars because it has only seen one rain storm and some fall winds and I haven't seen if it will last through the winter and spring. If it doesn't, I will be back to let everyone know.

Was tired of the flimsy tarp-material covers that would barely last a season. I even made a box to cover the unit with 1/2 inch insulation and put the cover around it. My unit is 26.5W x 17.5H x 15.5D. With the 1/2 inch insulation, it took a little effort to put on cover since cover was 27” wide range but it fits very snug. So snug, didn’t have to use the straps (but did anyways). Since the unit was only 15.5 deep, I folded over the excess. I put the cover on the insulation box before install. Had to gently tap each corner of the box several times to get it on. With the cover 27” wide and the foam board insulation a half inch on each side, I was worried it would not fit but the cover flexed just enough. Measurements are correct. A couple hours of work and now it will take me 5 minutes each season to put on. Wish I did a long time ago. I also put on an inside cover from another manufacturer. I taped a piece of plastic over the inside first. Had a 15-degree night. Did not feel any coldness like before. Pay the few xtra dollars and save in the long run with this quality. Update: cover still going strong. 3rd season Update #2: Still using cover in 5th season.

Just like the name implies, the AC cover is made of sturdy material and the stitching is strong. It fit quite nicely and was quick to install. I have every reason to believe it will far outlast the one I had before and does a much better job of covering the entire unit. Since it covers all 5 exposed sides , it can hold out wind much better than some other designs. The cover I replaced was vinyl and did not weather weather well. This cover is worth the price and I am well pleased.

Fast shipping and this is great to cover the AC in winter time. Fits perfect and has straps to tighten. I also use other bungee cords to make it tighter. Protects in all weather for rain and snow. Material hasn't torn or anything.

Purchased this product to cover our large window AC in prep for the winter time. (Did not want to hassle with removing it from the window cause its really heavy) Wanted to cover the AC to protect it from becoming more dirty in the winter and to prevent it from becoming filled with unnecessary water/moisture AND to keep the cold out. I had to order a larger size because the smaller one would not of fit. We had to tuck in the larger size, and use the zip straps (provided) to secure the cover. In attempt to tighten the straps, the cheap plastic clip broke, so I landed up tying the nylon strap into a knot. I suppose it will hold for the winter, if not- I'll purchase some cheap bungee cords to keep it secured. Overall, I think the cover is appropriate for the price. I think it will keep the cold out and help protect the overall unit. It will do what I need it to do!

I bought this cover for my built in wall air conditioner. I purchased and installed a mini split heat pump and instead of the hassle of removing it I got the cover. It's just as it was described... well made and easy tp install. I put the cover on and it fit perfect, just like it was custom made. I didn't need the depth of the cover so I just scrunched the excess up next to the outside wall. It's 20 feet up on a second story so no one will see it from the ground anyway. I'm very happy with this cover and It salved my problem with unwanted outside air getting into the inside.
