I got these to use with a few LED strips I was going to setup as Christmas lights. I wanted to affix them to my gutter, but I didn't want to drill holes or hang cables. I didn't know if these strips would work with the harsh cold winters of the east coast, but for the low price I took a chance. The tabs seem to fit my LED lights, although a little snug. I was a bit concerned if I was squeezing the lights too much or bending the circuit board, but things seem to be working well. I was able to affix these to my gutter with no problem. I just cleaned the surface, let the surface dry, and then held down the clip in place firmly for 20-30 seconds to ensure it would stick. I placed a clip every 8 LEDs or so to provide enough support. To my surprise they've been up a few weeks and they seem to work great. Granted the lip of my gutters may be providing a little protection, but they've been hanging in rain and below freezing temperatures without an issue! I was very, very impressed with these and I'd like to let you know that they worked outdoors for my Christmas light setup. I don't know how long they'll last, but if they ever fall off I'll update this review. ... show more

I used these to mount light strips because I didn't want to permanently mount them on my wall. These hooks were easy to use and the perfect size. I especially like that they're not too visible because of their transparency. I would recommend these and get them again the next time I'm in need of a new place to hang up lights! Problem solved. LED lights secure and doing their thing. Adhesive seems perfect on my smooth coat walls although I don’t see it a problem for textures. Haven’t pulled one off to see the aftermath and hoping not so sticky it affects drywall. But, I guess you can’t have it perfect both ways so will see. Not much to say, they're self explanatory. I cleaned well, prepped surfaces with alcohol and bam. Almost a year later, not a single clip has come off. Am about to buy some more to string some lights for my son's room. Buy with confidence.

    • Exactly what I need for mounting TV bias lighting

As the title says, I needed a way to mount some TV bias LED strip lights. I know that LED strips come with a tape on the back to mount it, but I wasn't sure if I would like this as much as I hoped I would or if the strip I got was going to what I wanted as well as it does.

We bought these because the adhesive on the LED strips that we bought for my sons room didn’t hold at all. These have been on for about a week and so far there is no give in their adhesion.
