Description

The ultimate auto mechanic's worklight, the Stinger Switchblade is three lights in one. There is a bright 800 lumen white LED light bar, a UV LED for leak detection, and 90 CRI LEDs (4,000K) for paint matching and checking wires. The blade of the Switchblade rotates 180 degrees on the body so you can get the angle you need. There are multiple ways to hook and hang the light, including a magnetic base. USB rechargeable in the light or use an existing Stinger charger.

I bought this for my son's birthday. He's got young kids that "help" him a lot, especially when it comes to flashlights. This sucker is built like a tank. There's a youtube video where a guy throws various brands 20 feet into the air and this one escaped damage. That's what sold me on this brand. It's very bright and versatile. Look I see a lot of bad reviews about this product. A lot of people were just looking at the cons and not the pros about the product. I am a technician with 5 years in the auto business and one thing I can say is flashlights are key when it comes to working on cars because you need to see what you are doing, if you can’t see you can’t produce proper work efficiency. The battery lasts a long time. All sides and modes of the flashlight are bright and the UV mode is a must when it comes to AC work and tracing oils drips on vehicles when you put trace powder believe it or not it works perfectly. I personally use this flashlight everyday. It falls and doesn’t break or chip. This flashlight is even great when it comes to using it in the house it’s so convenient. I give this product 5 stars just for the fact that it does what it advertises and it does it well I will definitely buy another one in the future. ... show more

Have used this light daily for well over a year so far. Dropped many times. It is bright and battery last's thru the day for me. The black light function is a huge plus and has worked well for locating leaks using dye in an a/c system. I will buy again if I break it or lose it. Pros - Compact design - Super handy UV light - High brightness - Easy insert for AC charger (Triangle shape stopper is brilliant) - Magnet and hook makes it so easy to setup your light anywhere you want Cons - Short battery life - Fixed brightness makes above problem even worse - Type of replaceable battery they use. + and - are on the same side. Not like usual batteries which has + and - on the other side. Thus, you cannot use 18650 and can only use this special battery. - Piggyback charger and extra battery are super expensive.
