  • Best little cart ever!!!
This is the best little cart ever! It connects to my bike easily; it has a clamp that attaches to my seat post, and a quick release button to detach the cart. I can bike to my location, detach the cart, then use it as a hand cart to bring the load to destination. Here are my comments: 1) Fits on a standard rear mounted bike rack - I kept the wheel on, removed the handle, and strapped to rear bike rack. Fit perfectly. 2) Make a great hand cart! You can remove the plastic cart liner - this is just a large, well constructed, plastic tub. Then you can put in and transport your own plastic tubs and boxes, of various sizes. This is an EXCELLENT way to move stuff you already have packed up. You can also bungee cord folded chairs, and other longer things, over the top of cart. 3) The cart handle grips where a little out of line, as other reviews mention, however this is not an issue. You can only use one side of the handle when using this as a hand cart - so it really doesn't matter if the other side of the handle is at a slight angle. To clarify, the handcart handle is a straight bar - it just appears it was welded to the cart handle a little bit at angle. 4) The cart handles about 60lbs without issue. I don't move any heavier loads because that's a lot of weight to be towing behind the bike for any length of distance. I tow behind my mountain bike. Since I remove the cart handle when I transport on my bike rack, I noticed one of the attachment screws has started to bend a little. Not a big deal, and I can get a replacement screw from my local hardware store if needed. I contribute the bent screw to hauling two 5 gallon water jugs at a time, over very bumpy ground, behind the bike, to our camp site. No complaints - a bent screw (cart still 100% functional - and I would not have noticed if I had not removed the handle) is ABSOLUTELY fine considering the work and energy this little cart saved us. 5) I had no issues putting the cart together. Took about 10 mins. I didn't read the instructions, just looked at the Amazon product photos. Afterwards I read the instructions - they aren't really good - but provide some guidance. The cart assembly includes 2 wheels, 2 sections for the cart handle, and some reflectors. So I found it fairly intuitive how this gets assembled. The 'kick stand' post confused me a little at first - but not long because you can only attach the cart handle one way - it quickly 'made sense'. And the kick stand is an added benefit, so you can keep the cart level when detached from the bike. 6) Despite my friends pleas - I did NOT try to transport any of my friends in the cart. I didn't want to break the cart or hurt my friends - just seems like a dumb idea all around. 7) The connection system to the bike is very easy and convenient to use and install. Can be easily transferred to a different bike - almost any bike I'm sure. MUCH more convenient then a rear tire mounted cart. 8) I would purchase again and 100% recommend. 9) Cart wheels have a modern wheel style, composite plastic hubs. They are stable and I like the plastic over a traditional spoked wheel. The plastic is far more durable, will not rust, does not need tuning, I see similar wheels on high-end baby carriages, garden carts, etc. Great wheels. ... show more

  • Thought it was lost, but it was just in odd spot.
Love my cart! Fits easily onto my bike and it doesn't feel like there's anything behind me when cart is full of my groceries and whatnot. Easy to assemble, very sturdy, moves easily w bike thanks to a flexible joint on the connection bar that allows a radius of movement so as not to put tension on bar/cart when maneuvering while traveling. Excellent product, well built and it even cones w it own custom fit velcro-on cover. ... show more

  • Good deal on a nice pull behind. Solid.
It is a very nice cart. The cover is waterproof and attaches well to the cart. The tub is removable. It has a handle towards the neck so you can detach it and use it for shopping or whatever. It bounces around alot without 10 pounds or so of weight in it, that's the only issue I had. Recommended by J! ... show more

  • May need work to use but great bones and good company May need work to use but great bones and good company
Expect to mess around with it a bunch if you're doing a custom mount, there were some build issues on mine but the company was lovely and very reasonable; I was able to have a local guy fix a couple problems in the frame because the metal tubing is very robust. The tub and cover are useful enough for the average user but I see the fabric cover wearing out, I am using mine for a ebike camping. I spent countless hours scouring stores for a tub with a lid that fit inside the frame and finally melted this 27gal hdx a bit shoved it in and used some metal strapped to secure it to the frame. I swapped out the spring on the hitch for a heavy gate spring and also fabbed up a custom plate and mount for the pin hitch for my heavy duty rack. While I was at it I took the housing apart and added a heavier spring to the latch button and epoxied a few bits that looked flimsy. My load out with trailer is roughly 100# incl. water and consumables for 3-4 nights and it makes the trips an absolute dream. Overall I would recommend it because the company is very pleasurable to deal with and stands by their product and the frame design is very sturdy and has a low center off gravity. -K ... show more

  • Adequate; but has flaws
I bought this cargo trailer a couple years ago for grocery store runs. For me, the advantage of this model over other brands and models was a) it attached to seat post instead of rear axle, b) was a cart, not an open/flatbad trailer, c) price was right. I read the reviews thoroughly and he only downside was the quality of the wheels, which I figured I could either live with or replace with higher quality. After a couple years, I can say that overall it's been a pretty good little trailer. I didn't use it all that often due to moving out to a rural area for a while, where it wasn't safe to ride. I am now back in an urban area and starting to use it more again. Hence my review now, instead of closer to when I bought it... and it is only a 3 star review, although I wish I could give it more. The cart itself is still pretty good overall. I don't use the cover much. I just load groceries into the bin and make my way home. I sometimes put a cooler into it in hot weather. It loses one star for the wheels, which have two problems: 1) the tires tend to want to come off the rims. You most definitely do not want to overinflate the tires! (This is made worse by letting it sit for long periods of time, such as winter months - ride it regularly to keep the tires from sitting around deflated). 2) the clearance over the tube valves is very short, and it is difficult to get a floor pump to engage without bending the valve stem quite a bit. I've tried three different pumps and they all work - but only with difficulty. It loses another star - and I'm tempted to dock it even further - because there's no way to buy a replacement hitch mount. I am in a relationship now and my girlfriend and I both want to make grocery store runs, but we'd have to remove the hitch to swap between bikes, unlike Schwinn, Burley and other brands that offer replacement parts. In fact, Aosom doesn't offer replacement parts at all. I have contacted them - their products come pre-packaged from China. As a workaround, I have seen the Ventura Zinc Coated Bicycle Trailer Hitch, and although the reviews aren't great, there are photos of people who have made it work with the Aosom Cargo Trailer. I guess I'll give it a try. ... show more

  • You will be happy You will be happy
This is one Sick cart bro. The cover fits tight and is indeed waterproof. Fits the large removable well made plastic crate that rides inside the metal wheeled frame tight enough that I don't need to use the Velcro cover binders that are attached. The quick connect/attachment is awesome. It corners well with its built in spring loaded articulation point. One reviewer cut away plastic rim area where it meets the valve stem. Do not do that. Just carefully pull the stem upwards towards the center of wheel before you hook up your pump. The tube is without (any) air and your stem maybe receded like mine and his obviously was. Easy to assemble. Get it NOW while the price is right. ... show more

  • Works well so far!
I bought this to pull behind my commuter e-bike as I often pick up trash along the creek and trails where I live and thought this would help carry a large trash bag as I fill up along my route. The frame is strong and stable, no problems with assembly and the plastic box within the steel frame is much larger than I anticipated and does a great job for my purpose of being a rolling trash trailer. Some reviews said easy to tip over, and maybe if you are riding rough trails that could happen, but adjust your speed, realize you are pulling a trailer and you should be fine with this trailer. ... show more
