It ships with an authentic Streamlight SL-B9 USB-C rechargeable battery pack and USB-C cord and produces 725 lumens, 9,500 candela and a 195 meter beam. The multi-fuel design also accepts one genuine Streamlight CR123A battery for 550 lumens and a 170 meter beam. • Very nice "basic" tactical light.
Color: Black Style: Securely fits a broad range of weapons a...
Streamlight features a dizzying array of options for weapon-mounted tactical lights, so the available choices can make picking the one that's "just right" very daunting. In terms of lights for mounting on the "picatinny" rail of pistols, there are basically two different categories: lights that use two batteries (typically longer/bigger/brighter) and lights that use one battery (shorter/smaller/not as bright). This particular light also comes in two varieties: one that uses only a standard CR123 battery, and this one, that comes with a USB-rechargeable battery made by Streamlight. You can use either this battery, or a standard CR123 if you prefer. The Streamlight rechargeable battery has to be removed from the light housing to be charged ... from a standard USB-C socket built into the battery case itself ... a little weird, but it works fine. As for me, I narrowed my search down to this light because I wanted a light that was compact (I did NOT want a bulky light that hangs out past the end of the muzzle, and am NOT interested in mounting a "searchlight" on a pistol that can illuminate a whole football field), and just gives me a simple, reasonably bright light that's securely attached to the pistol itself, and immediately ready for "one-hand" use in the event of any rapid-response emergency in a dark environment. This light is perfect for that in all respects. It's compact, fits perfectly under the barrel of a full-size pistol (no extension beyond end of muzzle), easily activated from either left or right side of the trigger guard with a touch of your finger. In terms of brightness, this light produces 500 lumens (roughly the equivalent of the light produced by a 50-watt incandescent bulb, or a 5-watt LED), but the focus of the beam makes the actual illumination area a lot brighter than that. It's like a little spot light, with a halo of ambient light extending outward from the main beam, and can be continuously operated for about an hour on a single recharge cycle (or life of a standard CR123 battery). In complete, or near-complete darkness, at an average threat "contact" range of 10-50 feet (and you're not going to want/need to fire any pistol any farther than 50 feet in the dark), 500 lumens will definitely allow you to quickly identify, fully illuminate, and "zero" your threat/target. The light is built like a little tank, and comes with a variety of adapters to ensure proper fitment on the mounting rail of your pistol. I think this model was designed to be adaptable to a very large variety of pistols, and it fit mine (S&W M&P full size 9mm) right out of the box. The more "standard" your rail, the more likely this light will work for you, but buyers should note that Streamlight offers a bunch of more-specialized versions of its lights that are made for specific pistol models, so be sure you're getting the right one for your particular pistol. The company has a filtering tool on their website that provides lots of guidance in this respect. In sum, great light, very pleased, and would certainly recommend. ... show more

    • Worth the money - great handgun light
Color: Black Style: Securely fits a broad range of weapons a...
So far it works exactly as I needed it to. No complaints, not very heavy and I really like how easy it is to hit the light’s “ON” button and how there’s a button on either side. Fits my Glock 19 Gen 5 perfectly using the bit that was already attached, but for other models they have other attachments that come with it in the box. I also liked that the battery that came with it was rechargeable, but it takes disposable ones as well. The beam itself is great. Everything about this light is great and worth the money. Don’t cheap out- buy this light. ... show more

    • Very nice light
Color: Black Style: Securely fits a broad range of weapons a...
I’ve had multiple streamlight products and have never been disappointed. Gives a nice bright output that has plenty of power and will give you zero trouble identifying anything. Has a nice feature to temporarily disable the battery to prevent draining it while still holding tight on the threads with an o ring to prevent any water entry. Mounting was very easy and holds secure I’ve already put ran a few mags with this light on doesn’t feel loose or any chance of it coming loose in the future. If this one ever goes out i will definitely buy another you’re getting excellent quality that’s worth the money. ... show more

    • GREAT strobe, great flashlight, clean-looking design, great fit!
Color: Flat Dark Earth Style: Securely fits a broad range of weapons a...
Good product. Rechargeable batteries are nice but only last about an hour. I still like it though because I doubt you will be in a gunfight for a whole entire hour, and if you are on patroll you should have a high-powered light dedicated to illumination purposes. I noticed the "disorientation flashing" is especially well done. I don't know how they did it, but the light is "pixelated" to make it uniquely dazzling. It is a great product and while the color tone does not quite match the glock-19 gen4 plastic color exactly, it still looks very nice! Good product. 9/10. -1 for battery non-longevity. ... show more

    • Streamlight Quality yet Affordable.
Color: Black Style: Securely fits a broad range of weapons a...
I mounted this light on my HKP30SK which serves as my bedside. My daily carry is a Sig P229. I wanted something reliable and rechargeable. This Streamlight conformed to my requirements. Probably the most challenging portions of this Streamlight purchase was determining which Streamlight to buy. It took several phone calls to Streamlight to figure out which light would accommodate my H&K because the available fitment chart did no include my weapon. The next challenge was figuring out which "key" was going to be used, because again, Streamlight instructions omitted any information with my P30SK and telephone support from Streamlight was inaccurate. It took me at least a full hour to figure out and mount the light. There is also a tiny E clip that is easily lost, which I did but Streamlight sent more. Streamlight is an excellent value, has appropriate power for inside the house, extremely easy to turn on via the switch and has well known Streamlight durability. Due to Amazons inconsistent vague rules and limitations regarding images concerning firearms which are enforced irregularly, I declined to include images or videos to avoid having my review declined. ... show more
