I recently purchased the Storkcraft Santos Nightstand in Black with Natural finish, and I'm quite pleased with my purchase overall. Firstly, let me highlight the positives. The nightstand has a sturdy construction, which provides confidence in its durability. The combination of black and natural finishes gives it a stylish and modern look that complements various bedroom decor styles. The nightstand features a spacious drawer and an open shelf, providing ample storage space for bedside essentials such as books, lamps, and electronic devices. The drawer operates smoothly on its metal glides, and the open shelf is convenient for storing frequently used items. Assembly was relatively straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. It took me around 30 minutes to assemble the nightstand, and I didn't encounter any major issues during the process. However, there are a couple of minor drawbacks worth mentioning. Firstly, while the overall construction feels sturdy, some of the hardware provided felt a bit flimsy. I would have preferred more robust hardware to ensure long-term durability. Secondly, the finish on the nightstand, particularly on the edges and corners, seemed prone to chipping and scuffing. I recommend handling the nightstand with care to prevent damage to the finish. Storkcraft is typically a great brand. I thought this piece was adorable so I ordered it. The assembly literally took my 2 hours and I am very experienced and good at assemblies of furniture and pretty much anything. Some hardware was missing and the instructions weren't ridiculously clear at certain points, but I skipped the couple of missing pieces because I am experienced enough to know it would function without due to having enough integrity and support from the manifold other pieces of hardware. I am glad this is very sturdy but the hardware was insane. Also, the drilled holes were messed up and the tracks for the drawers were a bit crooked as in the picture. The instructions also listed the wrong letter piece, but I figured that out. Only two pieces of this are solid wood, and the rest is composite. The drawers slam easily and the tracks are very fast, so I added furniture bumpers to lessen the slamming and try to baby proof but I will need to get something on amazon to block the fingers from pinching. I don't recommend this headache.. I like it and will keep it but what a waste of hours of my life.

This was so sad. The photos were so cute but the materials were garbage. This one is actually going in the trash before it if gets fully assembled. We bought practically our entire house on Amazon and this was the only total flop. My girls are so disappointed.

Storkcraft has been in business for more than 80 years, and I can't think of a time when its product quality has left a customer wanting more. This product is no different. First off, this nightstand is heavy, and some people will need help getting the box into the house. The weight of the furniture in a child's room is important to me, because kids have that tendency to start climbing things, and you don't want them up in the air on some cheap plastic dresser or nightstand you picked up at a discount store. The center of gravity is also very low here, reducing the possibility of the nightstand tipping over. The finishes on their products are also top-notch. Non-toxic and long-lasting, it will look great for much longer than its competitors. Assembly is made simpler because the drawer tracks are pre-installed, which greatly improves the product quality once assembled. It takes the average parent about half an hour to assemble this item with easy-to-follow instructions. I couldn't be happier with this product.

I love this nightstand, though it's not perfect. It arrived in great condition and assembly took about 45 minutes (I went slowly and methodically). It was smooth sailing until I put the top on. The rounded edge of the top did not perfectly match the rounded edge of the back, thus leaving a slight gap that I couldn't tighten. I tried flipping around one of the curved pieces on the top, but it didn't work. It's not a serious flaw to me, but it's worth noting in the review. I suppose I could've involved a sander and touch-up paint, but the flaw does not at all impact the function of the drawers. It's a cute nightstand with two generous drawers, and I'm hopeful that we'll get years of use out of it.
