I was a little skeptical when I purchased this dresses. Usually I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for but I have to say that the exterior quality of this dresser is pretty impressive. I bought it for my son's newly renovated bedroom and it looks really good when assembled. Easy to clean and also it makes a perfect tv stand given the high. My son's previous tv stand stood too short and when he was laying in bed, he could not see the bottom of this tv especially when playing videogames. With this dresser, the tv sits much higher and it is at a perfect viewing angle. The only cons I found about this dresser is that it is not super easy to put it together but it also does not take a scientist to do it. My husband put it together in about 90 minutes on his own without any help. This is a very good dresser! When delivered, the box weighs about 130 pounds so keep that in mind, it is very heavy. However, the UPS guy was wonderful & helped my husband with getting it in the house. It was easy to assemble (as long as you have a power drill) but it does take a while because there are so many pieces. My husband put together the frame while I put the drawers together & it took us about 2 and a half hours but that’s mainly because we had to share his power drill. You can put it together with a screwdriver but it’ll take longer & it’s a lot harder. As long as you follow the directions you’ll be fine. It’s not 100% sturdy but it’s definitely sturdy enough & adding clothes in it will help. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase & the quality. I highly recommend!! ... show more

After reading all the reviews I was very hesitant to order. However it was on of the few pepple gray dresses I could find on Amazon. I took the chance and just ordered it. To my surprise it wasn’t as bad as I expected. I’m 7 months pregnant built it all by myself. The most annoying part was before you put the side of the dresser up to hold it all together. I guess it’s supposed to somehow be secured after tightening the middle pieces but it doesn’t. So I just ignored that until it was time to attach the sides. After that it was smooth. The material is very delicate and will crack if you tighten the screws too much. The drawers were extremely tedious. In total it took me about 4-5 hours to put together. Overall I am happy with the results. It looks really nice and sturdy. I also like the safety features that only allows you to open on drawer at a time. If your hesitant like I was I would recommend taking the chance. ... show more

I really love how the drawers have the locking mechanism on them. very good quality, looks great in my son’s bedroom as well. the storage if pretty nice. I will say it’s definitely easier if you have another person helping you put it together.

I'm sad to be writing this review, because I just wrote one for a different Storkcraft dresser that turned out great. This one, however, was a complete disaster. The big difference between these was that for the other one, I took everything out of the box but didn't assemble it right away. By the time I was ready to assemble, I couldn't find the written instructions. So, I had to Google them and found instructions on YouTube. They were clear and I assembled the dresser easily. With this one, I used the written instructions, and they were horrible. To be clear, there are no words, just pictures. Some of the pieces in the pictures are backward from what they're supposed to be (i.e., the "screw hole" pictured should be on the other side). (They're not really screws, but I don't know what they're called so I'm just using that word.) Also, they kept flipping the pieces upside down and/or backward from one step to the next. I had to examine each picture at each step extremely carefully to see which direction it was facing -- sometimes the only clue would be a small cutout, or a screw hole that was showing in the last picture but wasn't showing in the current one, meaning the unit had been turned around. Overall, it was extremely confusing. By the time I got the unit assembled and the drawers put together, the drawers wouldn't go in. Obviously I had done something wrong during the assembly. So, I tried to take it apart to try again, and the entire thing just broke. The little metal pieces and dowels ripped apart the flimsy particle board before I could even get the pieces apart. Of course, I knew these pieces were particle board due to the price, but it just wasn't strong enough to hold up when being taken apart. So, if you do decide to buy this piece (or any other by Storkcraft based on my experience), I highly recommend skipping the written instructions altogether and going straight to YouTube. Frankly, even those are a bit annoying (I really don't need to be shown how to turn a screwdriver EVERY SINGLE TIME a screw needs to be used), but at least they are clear and the first dresser went together no problem. Unfortunately, this one ended up a mess and went straight to the dump. Lesson learned. ... show more

    • Worth Every Penny - Allow Time for Build

WORTH THE MONEY, READ REVIEW!! First, the box it comes in is HEAVY. As a pregnant mama you will not/should not lift or carry in, have some one bring it in for you. Second, allow time for build. Took my husband and I a few hours to build. There are ALOT of pieces, so pull them all out and make sure you have everything. All of our pieces were there and looked great! Third, the instructions are long and tedious, would definitely recommend 2 people. BUT easy to follow which made it go smooth! WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! Do not get overwhelmed by the amount of time or pieces. Glad we read reviews before purchase so we knew what to expect. Currently using as a dresser/changing table for newborn. ... show more

I’m here as a mid 30s woman to give an HONEST review I’m getting nothing out of this but I felt I had to defend it based off a lot of bad reviews. I’m not sure why there are so many terrible reviews on the quality and the assembly because I literally second guessed buying this once I read the reviews and was even a little discouraged.
