I have had this changing table for 8 months now, and so far this has been how it has performed: - Price: at the time that I bought this, I felt that the price was fair. It wasn't the least expensive model that I found, but it also wasn't the most expensive. - Assembly: While the assembly took some time, it wasn't overly complicated. The instructions were pretty clear, and I only needed to glance at them, given how relatively easy it felt for the assembly. The only reason it took longer was simply because I didn't use any power tools for this one. - Quality: I rather like how the quality of this changing table punches higher than its price. The pieces fit nicely, the wood feels solid, there are no gaps or creaks anywhere, there is ample storage space, and the changing pad and area is big and not uncomfortable to use. - Usability: as of right now, I have not ended up using the changing table itself that much, not because it's bad in any way, but because it's more convenient to change my baby at the bed. However, this has become a regularly used storage device, which still occasionally serves as an actual changing table. Overall, I definitely recommend this. It's fairly priced, easy to assemble, seems like it will last years, and looks like it will be used long past the time my baby will no longer need to be changed. ... show more

Looks nice, good quality. Seems like a sturdy piece of furniture. Easy to put together. Easy to clean. 6 drawers that hold a lot . The drawers only allow you to open one drawer at a time. This feature is only great for a kids room, so they don’t open all the drawers at once and the dresser doesn’t fall on them.     • Extremely Disappointed in the Locking Mechanism

I bought the Storkcraft Brookside 6-Drawer Double Dresser specifically because of the “anti-tipping” locking mechanics that only allow one drawer to open at a time. As a mom, safety was my top priority, so this feature was the reason I chose this dresser over others. Unfortunately, after about a year of normal use, the entire lock mechanism jammed. Instead of preventing tipping, it prevented any of the drawers from opening at all. No amount of gentle troubleshooting would release it, and while trying to unjam the system, one of the drawers ended up breaking. For a piece of furniture marketed as safe & reliable for kids, this was incredibly frustrating. The locking system went from a safety feature to a complete failure point. I wouldn’t recommend this dresser unless the manufacturer addresses the defect and improves the durability of the locking hardware. ... show more

This is a cheap cheap cheap! peace of furniture. Not worth the money. It looks and feels nice, and the gray paint matches other brands well but it has issues everywhere. 1. It is short! 2 1/2” tall is much smaller in person then pictures! 2. The drawers only open 7”… they are almost double that in depth but for some reason have these tiny sliders…. 3. Assembly is complicated and slow, give yourself better part of 3 hours. And allot of peace’s fit together poorly. Gaps everywhere. The handles I received were not polished like the ones in the photos either, just normal flat metal. I like it, but really wish it was built better. You can buy this kind of peace from your local Wally-world for a better price. ... show more
