I love this Stone + Lane Celina dinnerware! I'm extremely picky about everything, and this set exceeded my expectations. Each piece is the perfect size, style, and color. The plates are modern and flat, but have a small lip on the bottom that makes them easy to stack. The cereal bowls are nice and deep. Each piece is sturdy, but not overly heavy. I've used them at least twice a day for the past 2-weeks, and so far, no scratches. With the soft white color, I'm expecting scratches eventually from flatware, but so far, this dinnerware is much better then the CB2 set I've had for over 10-years. They arrived in super protective packaging, so not one piece was chipped or broken. If you love the look, but are afraid of the quality at this price, don't worry at all. They're just as nice as any stoneware you'll find at Crate & Barrel or Pottery Barn. I'm very impressed! ... show more

I purchased two sets of these dishes for wedding gifts for my son and daughter-in-love. We were all so pleased upon opening the box to see the great quality of the stoneware. Each piece has a great feel to it - the weight is balanced. The edges were smooth and the bottoms were not going to scratch your table if moved around on the surface. As my son unboxed both sets, he noticed a couple of very small spots on 2 plates (out of 2 complete sets of dishes) that the glaze had not covered, and the spots were white on matte black dishes. He contacted the company, and they handled the situation with great customer service. They sent new plates out immediately for the two that had spots - and those two arrived in perfect condition. These dishes are really a great quality product that the company stands behind. They look great on the table and could compliment any style of decorating. Highly recommend! ... show more

I absolutely LOVED these plates; they’re sturdy, heavy (which I like personally), the color looks way better than the picture and just a plus: They dry super quick! They come well packed and the box labeled everywhere as fragile. All of them stack perfectly on top of the other. Will definitely buy another set to have 8 of each pretty soon. If you are thinking about it, stop and buy them! Btw the white seen on the pics is not scratch, is just dirt from the shipping process. ... show more

This plate set is stylish and modern. However, the black does show any little mark. Additionally, the black finish does slightly fade with time. You can really tell if you get another set and put the two neck to eachother.
