    • This one works upside down also
Model: 2301
You cant beat american technology when it comes to operational bliss! Theres alot of immitators out there but most dont light right or turn off when you invert them the flame goes out! Not this Bernzomatic one...It works upside down also.

    • Works well at all angles
Model: 2301
Based on a lot of reviews I should not be able to use this when holding the tank sideways or upside down, but I had no issues. I'm using 1lb cylinders meant for camping stoves and using the torch to start my fire pit. I can prep and light a fire using the heat from a stern look but this just makes life a little easier. Easy flame control and no issues on using. I have a finer control one for actual soldering but I think this would work fine. ... show more

    • Not for smoking/bong
Model: 2301
Very high strong flame..I normally use torch lighters but Walmart substituted a propane tank for a can of butane I ordered, and my torch was stolen..so I got this for tank of butane I got..it works great if ur welding or soldering something, but to smoke it's very difficult to turn flame down so low without it going out completely.. ... show more

    • Works great. No extra lighter needed.
Model: 2301
Connected quick. Worked right out of the box. Definite upgrade compared to a non self-lighting nozzle.

    • Failed Expectations.
Model: 2301
Review Image by Yohawhn
My previous Bernzomatic torch was reliable for 25+ years until dropped/cracked. This was purchased a year ago, used on maybe 5 occasions to start brush piles. Suddenly, it now leaks at the igniter button - caught fire and started to melt the button. The flame self extinguishes and won't reignite until shut off/on again. The fuel flow is no longer regulated properly. As soon as the control is turned from Off it's wide open - you can see the fuel being expelled. I wouldn't trust this to be left on a fuel cannister - What a shame - what an abnormal expectation from a previously reliable brand name. It came ALL the way across the world from Taiwan just to be trashed in the US. What a wasteful world we are having shoved into our daily lives... ... show more
