Nov 2021 Yeah I can honestly saw these blades dull fast when you cut into hard wood. I am not sure why these are dulling so fast. Maybe because the chain is thinner in width to keep the motor from bogging that there is less surface area to cut. I don't know but I am not cutting anything too crazy and they seem to dull fast. I always have oil in it too. I think this saw should only be used for light duty like palm fronds and very small twigs. I knocked off a star because I have gone through 4 of them. I have a big gas powered saw and the chain never seems to get dull in comparison. April 2021. Chains seem to be dulling really quick. I have the auto oiler full and it’s getting oil. Might try a dif brand next time. Having such a small bite surface area might be leading to dulling quicker. I might have to reserve this only for my softer palm trees and small branches if it keeps dulling so fast. I am going to switch brands of chains and see what happens then. I’ll update after a test. Added Mar 2021. Noticing these small chains get dull faster than larger chains. Don't try to use it like a big saw and don't run out of oil. It cut like a champ for a week then all of a sudden it was done. Hard to explain what happened but I re-bought another chain and I am cutting smaller logs now. We will see. What a dif a good chain makes. My son killed my blade somehow and this thing was working so poorly I wanted to throw it away. Put this on and its like a light saber for small trees. Cuts them in seconds if not less. wow! I use in it on the MS 120 battery saw. Btw if you don't have a second battery get one. That makes you cut all day. About the same time it takes to discharge it the old battery will charge up. ... show more
