It works beautifully on its own or as a primer under other makeup. I purchased the Medium shade. It initially comes out white but it quickly adjusts and blends seamlessly into my skin. I decided to give it a try because of the affordable price point, and I’m so glad I did. Unlike many higher-end products I’ve purchased in the past, this one didn’t end up being returned or tucked away in a drawer with my other makeup disappointments. I love Loreal's Magic BB Cream Primer. I use it every day. I use the Medium. It goes on white but as I blend it into my skin, it changes to match my skin tone perfectly. PERFECTLY. I don't need to apply more then one application. It evens out my skin tone, does not settle into fine lines and is very light weight. It says it is a primer but I wear it as my foundation. There is no need.to apply makeup over it. I apply my setting powder and blush and finish by applying my final setting spray. It lasts all day. My makeup does not break down during the day, my skin doesnt get shiny. It is awesome and I highly recommend it. By the way, I am 62 years old. I feel it would be perfect for any age. ... show more

This foundation cream works best when you place a small amount in your hand and work the cream around until the white cream becomes a color, then place on your face. The consistency of this BB cream is nice like velvet on your skin, it really hydrates a lot and cover really well. But the Medium color is way too dark and warm for a neutral skin tone. The solution would be not putting too much on your face or using a lighter concealer for balance the darkness
