I've been using furniture polisher on my snow thrower since I bought it. I thought I was being smart. I ran out of the lemon-scented stuff before our first snow this year, and used the small can of SNOW JET that came with the machine (in 2014!) I used it inside the chute and auger scoop. No snow stuck. I used it on the shovels. No snow stuck. The can advised that repeated uses build up a thick non-stick coating. I sprayed everything down again. No snow sticks to anything, and cleanup of the machine just takes a couple of minutes. I bought a two pack of the large cans. I don't know if it'll make our wood furniture shine, but it sure works wonders on the snow thrower and shovels. ... show more

    • Not sure that it helped but I reordered.
Problem was with wet snow clogging snow thrower chute. Not sure if this helped but needed something to try. A lot of precautions about not inhaling this. I used rubber gloves and a mask when applying it.

This works great on the snowblower and shovels to prevent snow from sticking. Just note that it needs to be kept at room temperature in order to spray most effectively.

Just a quick spray to the surface of the snow shovel or plow. I use this for my hand snow shovels as well as the plow on my tractor. I think the snowblower moves snow better now. The snow seems to go further out the chute anyway. No clogging but I was working with nice cold fluffy dry snow too.

Use it on my snow plow. It doesn’t seem to last real long as would be expected. I typically apply more after 1 or 2 plows of 800 foot gravel driveway. Will continue to purchase more as needed.
