Had an Ariens Deluxe 28 snowblower that was running lean (had to run with partial choke all the time) which was limiting my power output - machine is only 4 years old. Tried pulling and cleaning the existing carburetor with no improvement. Purchased this replacement and it’s working perfectly now. As another reviewer stated, it’s not worth trying to clean/rebuild your exiting carburetor if your machine is running lean - just swap it out with this replacement and be done with it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This carburetor fits and runs well! It does not come with a gasket because the old one will work just fine. No glue involved to tear the old gasket just pull off old unit and screw a the new one.

    • Avoid! Does not work on Ariens 921046
Waited a crazy amount of time for this to arrive. Be aware that there are absolutely no gaskets included with this kit (unlike any other similar kit on Amazon at half the cost). Once I disassembled the crazy amount of shroud material on my Deluxe 28 Ariens blower, made the simple swap of the carb. The replacement Stens carb fired up pretty quickly, and just about send my machine into orbit with regard to RPM ... dialed back the RPM via throttle ... at high idle it drops down to just about nothing ... bogs down when attempting to move the slightest bit of snow, then flies back to wild high RPM (literally flames coming out the exhaust) . I am too afraid to run it, as it will most certainly cause engine damage, going to try my luck on the higher rated $24 carb instead. Total waste of time on this one. Double checked all model numbers and part numbers against my LCT engine code, the 20001171 is definitely the Ariens part number for this carburetor, and the part number provided by Stens. It just doesn't work. ... show more

Works very well. My snowblower never ran right from day 1 (backfired, surged,would not idle}. Installed this carburetor,runs fine now. I strongly recommend.
