  • It works
My son loved it.

  • Loved this product
Came in a standard cardbox box, wrapped in clear plastic and includes the manual. I had slight difficulty setting it up; I thought there was something wrong with the headphones because there was no sound on, but do check that you haven't dialled the volume control at the headphones AND the chat part of the Chatmix dial is NOT set to 0. Not an audiophile, but I did extensive research before I made my decision, and I'm really happy with my purchase. It looks as good as new. My ears also do not hurt when I put my headphones on for extended periods of time. Do download Steelseries Sonar software as part of Steelseries GG and have fun tinkering with the equalizer. It really makes a difference! ... show more

  • Surprisingly good Refurbish
Ive had these for about 6 months now and have enjoyed them quite a bit. Im coming from a razer nari wireless headset and the sound quality is so much better. The cable is a bit of a nuisance but as is for every cabled headset so i knew what i was getting myself into. I like the control knob a lot but if you dont watch out for it its very easy to adjust the volume on accident and blow your ears out. Im able to hear my toddler through the headset which is not bad for me but may be for those who dont have responsibilities outside of headphone use. ... show more

  • Noise cancelation doesn't work, over all very dissapointed.
So I might be dumb, but I really thought these were wireless. They arrived in a plain cardbox, no special box, nothing to protect the headset, with the additional stuff thrown aside. The headset uses a special type of cable, so that if yours breaks you'd have to buy a new from the company. I don't like when a company uses this kind of product manipulation, you are already charging way more than your product is worth, and now if it breaks I have to pay you more? Just from unboxing the set I got a really bad feeling about them. Connected to the pc, and voyla, they were working straight away, even though the guide says it is required to download their "engine" Oh well, I done that, only to be asked to download additional files. Couldn't you just do that in the first download wizard? Why do I have to suffer twice? Alright, let's speak of this special and required "engine" First of all, I'm not gonna use it for anything other than configurating my headphones. There are better ones out there. The UI is trash, not responsive and unintuitive Pros: they are really comfortable. Could wear them all day. They have this ski over-the-head band, and the ear-cuffs sit perfectly around my, well, ears. The sound is ok I guess Cool lighting effects The microphone expands from inside the headphones, which is kinda cool Cons: Trash box, nothing that made me feel good when receiving and opening it Stupid cable management, again special designed so that it is not commonly available Unnecessary software, I wanted only the headphones part, not the store, game capture, and what not else you got there Noise cancelation barley canceling any noise OH AND THEY DONT EXPAND, THE SIZE YOU GET IS THE SIZE YOU GET, BUT IT IS OK FOR MY BIG HEAD SO KEEP THAT IN MIND I literally could trash on these headphones all day. Don't buy, not recommended. Also this was the first and last SteelSeries product I'm gonna buy. And to think I was excited for a whole month waiting for these to arrive. ... show more

  • Most comfortable headphones available
These are the most comfortable and have the best audio quality of any headphones I've ever owned. I've owned other SteelSeries headphones in the past but this one is truly the most comfortable and they don't make my ears overheat after extended use. The ear pieces aren't made of plastic. They are breathable fabric which helps to keep your ears cool. This is a major advantage over other headphones. The top of the headphones have a hard band. Between the hard outer band and your head there it a fabric band that sits directly on your head. At first I didn't understand why it was made that way but after using it for many hours and days I realized why. It conforms to your head. You can't get anymore comfort than that. It has a 3.5mm port to connect to your audio source. This way when your cord wears out from use, you simply get a new cable. All my other headphones all had a hard wired audio cable. After frequent use, they start fraying and it will eventually start affecting the sound quality. This is not an issue with these headphones. ... show more

  • Nice headphones and a Honest review
Good headphones with the steel series software. 2 problems, 1) there’s a manual sound adjuster for chat and gaming. The knob for the sound adjuster is easy to slide and that’s my problem. If it isn’t taped down it would just move side to side. 2) the wire to connect your headset to your computer needs a USB slot. I went out and bought a usb hub but even then I have a free aux port that could have been used. Overall 8.5 headset, I had a arctic 1 before and it’s a modest step up ... show more

  • Best Headset I've owned
Wow. I'm not one to write reviews, but wow. These are great headphones. I had the Steel Series arctis 7 prior to these and the difference is night and day, which is shocking. Yes, these are the refurbished, but they could be brand new for all I know. They are great. The quality of the sound is amazing, microphone sounds crisp and clear in discord. and the best part for me is the audio tracking and the chat mix dial. I can hear exactly where footsteps are coming from in FPS games like warzone, and the Chatmix dial helps me balance between game and chat audio easily. Great buy, and at a lower price than brand new, they are well worth the price. ... show more

  • Great headphones, bought to replace mine for the GameDAC version which is way more expensive
Well, the GameDAC has way better quality compared to this set without it, no comparison. Unfortunately, my headset wore out after a couple years of heavy use. Luckily, I was able to buy just the headset with a new wire and everything for $110 vs. paying $250+ for a whole new Arctic Pro GameDac unit. Installation was as simple switching headsets on the DAC. Super happy with this purchase. ... show more
