I bought this based on the reviews not only on Amazon, but on Reddit and other places. I was shocked when I received it that is was fully assembled, awesome touch!! I was not very impressed with the materials when I pulled it out, it immediately felt super cheap. It was also missing a wheel, no big deal I had spares and they are literally all the same wheels. Not only was it missing a wheel, it was missing lumbar support, apparently every single feature on these chairs is like buying a car, and they nickel and dime you to death on even the most simple features, adjusting the lumbar being one of them. But lets get to how the chair felt, and for me it was extremely uncomfortable from the second I sat in it I knew I was going to hate this chair. The way it made me sit, in a very odd position, it kind of squished my thighs together. It pressed really aggressively against my lumbar, so much so that even after 2 hours my back was killing me. It's #1 touted feature, the adjustability of the arms, it was nice but at same time still felt kind of weird as they constantly moved as I went from keyboard to mouse, causing me to have to reshift their position. They were also very very hard and offered no padding, did not feel high quality. I wanted to like it, I really did, but I am a pretty big guy. I have very wide shoulders, huge legs from my weight lifting days and this thing felt like it was made for a significantly smaller person. I have a very very old Herman Miller Aeron and going back to it was literally a sigh in relief. ... show more

I Love this chair. It's super ergonomic. I first came across steelcase when I sat on one at work. I immediately thought I need this chair. I got it because I have back pain and most office chairs that I've had don't give me the support I need in the lumbar or neck regions. This chair tho supports your neck and your lower back really well and it's fully adjustable. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. I'm completely satisfied. ... show more

Just wish the seat itself could tilt backward a bit. There is no locking mechanism for leaning back, but you can easily increase the tension so that your natural resting weight results in a certain posture. I love this chair. After suffering with neck pain from being on computers so much during the pandemic, this was a treat for me. It is completely adjustable. I’m 5’8” and my husband is 6’2” and it works for both of us. If you are shorter or taller, consider sizing up or down because it comes in different sizes. We chose the middle of the road size. The headrest is particularly useful and it is worth getting, especially if you suffer from neck pain like I do. I also purchased one for my child in college because she has been online so much. She has fybromyalgia and mast cell activation syndrome. The chair has been perfect for her as well (she is 5’5”). It is quite heavy, which I like.
