The steamer has appropriate power and has a functional design for travel. The tank holds enough water (distilled) for three cotton pieces of clothing. I had to work harder for my corduroy top. It feels substantial in my hand but not too heavy. The resting base is necessary while it is still hot. Steaming is great for traveling because it gets the smells out of the clothes as well as the wrinkles. The cord is not long, so you want to be close to an outlet during use. I had to get used to the suction, but after using it a second time, it became easier to maneuver. The steamer heats up quickly and lasts long enough for me to finish one piece before it needs to be restarted. A lot of hotels have irons and ironing boards, but you don't know who used them and what could be on them. A gadget like this steamer will allow your clothes to be cleaner and look better. The travel bag to hold everything is perfect, and the instruction card is easy to understand. I have not used it on anything but clothes yet, but one of the pros of it being handheld is that you can use it on other things like furniture.

This steamer heats up quickly and is very convenient for everyday use and travel. The suction feature works but takes a little practice to use effectively. Once you get the hang of it it does a good job removing wrinkles without dripping. Not perfect but a solid option for quick touch ups.

Back in my 20s I worked at Abercrombie and American Eagle, so I spent way too many hours steaming clothes with those big heavy commercial machines. It's no-drip, lightweight, and compact enough to store easily or pack for travel, yet it replaces our giant stand-up steamer completely. My daughter sells clothing online, and she likes everything to be perfect when the box is opened. Many of the materials are of the type that show wrinkles easily. She had been using a different simple steamer to remove wrinkles before packaging. But it left the items a little damp, and they then needed to be hung up to dry. I saw this item with the unique vacuum suction around the steam nozzle, and I thought it might make things easier for her. And it did. Now, a simple once over and it's wrinkle-free, and dry enough that it's ready to go in the box. I have used it on various items both with and without the suction, and have found it quite useful both ways (depending on the fabric). If you want a steamer, definitely consider this item. Much more versatile than a standard steamer.
