I ordered this iron to replace my cordless iron. I looked at many irons and was on the fence about this one based on the price and reviews I read. I did not love the price but after doing my research, I decided to buy this iron based on the length of time it stays hot and the cord length. Going back to a corded iron was a tough decision because so many irons have a short cord. This model has a 12 foot cord and it allows me to place my ironing board anywhere. When it’s says the cord rotates, it is able to rotate 360 degrees. Okay, so I used the iron with some sizing spray. I did not use the steam feature because at this price point, I’ll use a misting bottle of water if needed. No water going in this baby. The iron gets very hot! With the sizing spray, the wrinkles ironed right out. I did. To use it without the size spray, so no idea how well it removed wrinkles without the spray. The auto lift feature worked as expected and the iron also sits upright with no problem. As a test, I left the iron on, sitting on the legs. After a while I could smell it and went to look at my ironing board. I could see the area under it was slightly scorched. I would not recommend leaving it in this position when sewing or when planning to come back to it after some time. The temperature knob is way to adjust and it’s nice to be able to see the settings easily. I picked the turquoise iron and the color is very vibrant. The iron has a nice heft to it so it felt good in my hand running it along the fabric. The size of the iron is good, it’s slightly bigger than my old cordless iron. The best iron I have ever had. Love the swivel cord and excellent steam. Would recommend a silicon iron pad. Even using an alleged scortch proof silver iron cover. It still scorched.

The single best feature about this iron is that it automatically elevates when you take your hand off of it. You could never burn anything with it unless you purposely set out to do so. It's a little pricey, but there's no other like this. It seems to be well-made. Heats nicely, seems magnificently.

It broke within 3 months. It's a $200 iron, I get better results with a cheap $20.00 that lasts for years. I bought this iron because of all the praise I see on my various quilting websites... DO NOT PURCHASE!

This iron is amazing. The feature I wanted for,quilting is that it stays hot for 30 minutes between ironing sessions. Has great steam capabilities. The cord is 12 feet long, a bit if a nuisance.

Iron heats and performs well in general. Not liking the auto lift feature - wish I could turn that off. The iron is hot, so even raised up on the feet, the ironing board underneath the iron gets very hot - so hot it doesn't seem safe. Tipping up it's not as stable as other irons, but am not comfortable with the amount of heat directed at the ironing board so am tipping it up just like any other iron. The feet are sometimes a little slow to retract so have found that occasionally while I'm intending to iron, the feet are still down and catch the fabric that I'm ironing. As mentioned, it would be nice if I could turn the auto lift off. Sounds like that was an option in previous models. The side feature is nice for filling it with water, on the flip side, it's very difficult to get all of the water out. ... show more

I just started quilting about a year ago and I bought a nice iron, but after seeing these at my quilt shop I knew I wanted one and when they were on sale for Prime Day I bought one. This iron is both fun and works so well - the hottest setting for cotton is hotter than my last iron - it really flattens the fabric and the steam setting works great - I leave that on the lowest setting and plenty of steam. It has a large reservoir so I haven’t had to refill it yet. The iron has 3 legs that retract when you touch the handle so you can iron, then when you set it down flat and let go, the legs pop back up and it props the iron off the surface of your ironing board. That takes a little getting used to, but I’m used to it now - for me it feels safer and less prone to falling off the ironing board accidentally. It’s really expensive - I wish it were about $50 less and I think they would sell a LOT more of these. ... show more
