SALAV's GS18 Full Size Garment Steamer has a powerful 1500 watts of steam. The large 1.8L capacity water tank provides continuous steam of up to 1 hour. With an adjustable telescopic pole for easier storage, it's a perfect addition to any household. What type of water should I use on my steamer? We highly recommend using distilled water to prolong the life of your steamer and to prevent mineral build-up caused by hard water (tap water). What is the full height of the steamer? The height of the steamer from the base to the top of the hanger with the pole fully extended is 65 inches. Is it necessary to drain the water and reservoir after each use? It's best practice to drain the excess water from the tank and reservoir to prolong the life of your steamer and to prevent mineral build-up. It also prevents water from spilling while in storage. I just got my steamer and the steam hose is really stiff. The hose is made with dual-insulated material to regulate temperature and once you start using your steamer, the hose will become softer. How do I troubleshoot leaking issues? Leaking usually happens when the water tank cap is not screwed properly to the water tank. I work in retail and ordered this steamer because I needed a new one, for one it does the job no problem however the pole does not tighten down. I have the carry this around the store instead of being able to pull it because it does have wheels so it should roll but the pole keeps coming out. This steamer is great. I couldn't find a steamer like this after my old one broke, but finally found this on Amazon. It's easy to assemble, easy to use and similar to the steamers in retail stores. It heats up quickly, though be careful not to put your hand on the steaming part where the steam comes out because the steam is so hot. I prefer this type of steamer over the hand held ones because hand helds don't hold much water. I reported to Amazon, I was told that it was off warranty after 90 days. I sent it out for get it repaired. 2 months after it stopped working. First off, I am not an influencer or anything like that..I am just a regular person like most people on here. I am familiar with fabric steamers though. I purchased a hand held one but found for daily use it was too heavy when fully filled with water so I kept it for when I travel. Now, I saw the videos on this and thought why not? I bought it to try it out and I love it! First off: great wrinkle release, fast heat up and continual steam. It has a large water capacity so you can steam to your hearts content. The hanger attachment is a nice bonus to help breeze through what you need done. The flexible hose allows you to move around the garment without worry and the wheels on the machine makes it easy to move around to whichever room you prefer. The only thing they should change is putting in a longer cord. That may just be a safety thing though. It’s nice you can’t collapse it down for easy storage however, I keep mine stored at full height for quick touch ups in my closet. Let’s talk money..you can spend a lot of m$ney for these things! In the upwards of a thousand or more dollars depending on the brand and whether or not if it’s a professional version. I saw a few for a couple hundred dollars on here but seriously why??? It does a great job for under $80?! Try it. I’ll bet you’ll like it. If not, then leave it to Amazon to have an amazing return policy! ... show more

I've had this steamer for 4 years and on average use it about once a week. It has performed very well. I've cleaned and descaled it often. I have not left water sitting in it when not in use. This week, it suddenly stopped working. I cleaned it and descaled it, but no luck getting it to work. As a last resort, I removed the bottom screws to inspect. I was disheartened to discover this *see pic*. I am assuming there was an internal leak somewhere that I didn't realize. Overall, it's a good product but it didn't last as long as I would have hoped for the price. ... show more
