I bought this steamer for 2 reasons; to steam some of my clothes and for bed bugs. This steams your clothing easily and for those pesty critters, I would use this just before going to bed. I got basically add the bugs I could see all over my bed and would have one or two good nights on my bed. One day, I had the water tank portion of the steamer, easy to put on, filled with some extra on the side and took my bed apart, I got them ALL! However, when I found out I had them, I stayed in one place unless I was in the kitchen. So, my bed and possibly the carpet was were they lived. I got them all and now others don't mind coming into my bedroom if they must. Oh..the machine is lightweight. KILLER DEAL!!!

I’ve had the SALAV GS18-DJ garment steamer for over 3 years now, and it still works just as perfectly as the first day I used it. The 1.8L water tank gives me a full hour of continuous steaming, which is more than enough to get through multiple outfits or even a pile of laundry in one go. The steam is powerful and consistent, and I’ve never had issues with it losing strength over time. I also really appreciate the thoughtful design — the roll wheels make it easy to move around, and the adjustable pole makes storage simple. It heats up quickly, saves me time compared to ironing, and leaves clothes looking smooth and fresh. The build quality has impressed me the most. After years of regular use, it still feels reliable and durable, with no drop in performance. This garment steamer is really good. It heats up quickly, steams well, good height, and the hanger is good. It is a bit awkward to move from "storage" to "use". The hanger would be even better if it had pant clothes pins/clips. The pole began to collapse (4yrs old but only used once a week or so). The company was very easy to work with and did replace the pole for free and added cleaning agent packages!

The media could not be loaded. This is terrible. Dont buy. I bought this and used it and thought it did the job. My family used it right after me and told me that it was spilling water every where and boiling straight out of the steamer out on our wood floors. I thought it was used error. I used it a few months after that and it spilled everywhere while I was using it. But I just wanted to get the job done and out of the house. Using it to steam my daughter’s ballet outfit for her recital and it truly was extremely annoying to use. It was boiling out of the machine all over the floor so I had to put a tray under it. It would stop steaming every minute or so for a good 30 second or longer and then it would steam again only to stop after a minute and go back on after about 30. In the meantime it kept dripping super hot water on my thighs and hands as I was steaming. Also splashes out hot water straight from the steamer head onto your clothes. Leaving your clothes soaking wet and dripping on the floor. I am so annoyed about this purchase. Save yourself the time and money and get something else.

I've had this steamer for 4 years and on average use it about once a week. It has performed very well. I've cleaned and descaled it often. I have not left water sitting in it when not in use. This week, it suddenly stopped working. I cleaned it and descaled it, but no luck getting it to work. As a last resort, I removed the bottom screws to inspect. I was disheartened to discover this *see pic*. I am assuming there was an internal leak somewhere that I didn't realize. Overall, it's a good product but it didn't last as long as I would have hoped for the price.

First off, I am not an influencer or anything like that..I am just a regular person like most people on here. I am familiar with fabric steamers though. I purchased a hand held one but found for daily use it was too heavy when fully filled with water so I kept it for when I travel. Now, I saw the videos on this and thought why not? I bought it to try it out and I love it! First off: great wrinkle release, fast heat up and continual steam. It has a large water capacity so you can steam to your hearts content. The hanger attachment is a nice bonus to help breeze through what you need done. The flexible hose allows you to move around the garment without worry and the wheels on the machine makes it easy to move around to whichever room you prefer. The only thing they should change is putting in a longer cord. That may just be a safety thing though. It’s nice you can’t collapse it down for easy storage however, I keep mine stored at full height for quick touch ups in my closet. Let’s talk money..you can spend a lot of m$ney for these things! In the upwards of a thousand or more dollars depending on the brand and whether or not if it’s a professional version. I saw a few for a couple hundred dollars on here but seriously why??? It does a great job for under $80?! Try it. I’ll bet you’ll like it. If not, then leave it to Amazon to have an amazing return policy!
